I haven't bought a transformer in years, but these alternators have me interested. I always liked the decepticon jets. do they have plans to release any after shockwave? Is there a website to view upcoming figs?

"Super deal" you say? Hmmmm, I'd be interested to know more, or at least I might be if I knew more about it.

Which alternators are hard to find? They had a bunch at Target last night (side note: Target in Texas is now officially OUT of the xevoz trade ). I almost bought Grimlock, but wanted a 2nd opinion first...

Grimlock is a good find. I bet it's gone by now. I only saw him once and bought him.

I've got two Grimlocks ;D. I just got Swindle yesterday, bout damned time! FYI Xevoz ball joints are great for customs of other crap. I'm in the middle of doing a Masterpiece SW and Alt SW, I used a ball and socket for his shoulder cannon on both and it looks great.

Here's a couple pics of a rough version of MP SWs cannon: www.geocities.com/meanpen15/SW2.JPGwww.geocities.com/meanpen15/SW3.JPGI started him back in like September, but then one day while wandering WalMart I came across something called Xevoz, and got a little distracted. Until I found Xevoz I still had no idea how was gonna mount the cannon, make it easilly detatchable, but not crappy.

I'm most able to find Sideswipe, Smokescreen, Silverstreak & Hound at any store, but any other character can be a challenge. If you see one in a store, just grab it ASAP.

To be honest, I don't think that's a finished product sample. I don't think I was less impressed with any line at Toy Fair 2005 than this line. Prowl is descent just because I expect his finished look to be much better. However, the only other thing new was yet another Corvette except this time it's red. As much as I liked Tracks 4 Corvettes is 2 too many. There just not a lot of variety and I feel this line is now going to the cheap. Hasbro really needed to make a splash here to keep me interested and instead feel flat. I'm glad I recently sold this collection to grab cash to get multiple wave 4 xevoz sets. I've already played with my FD & RS multiples more than I ever touched these.

Actually that's how it was, but these don't seem to have the same audience they do in Japan as they have here. Alternators are way ahead of Binaltech on releases now. This has caused alot of speculation that Hasbro is now taken over the line and is calling the shots. If so, I'm not to enthusiastic on it's future... as you well know how poorly Hasbro cateres to adult collectors.
