I've been thinking about getting an army of Skull Jacks to fight an army of Grim Skulls, but would it be stupid to get more Value Zone Grim Skulls? I could just wait until the Booster set, but that won't come with all the recolored Skull Jack parts. I mean, it'll come with some of them, just not all. IF you buy several Grimm Skull value zone figures, you'll also end up with a lot of inferno fury parts

[glow=aqua,2,300]Ummm.....yes. But would he want a bunch of extra Inferno Fury parts is the question? I'd rather save several bucks apiece than have a pile of pieces I probably wouldn't need anyway.

True, I don't want all the extra Inferno Fury parts. However, I do like the repainted Skull Jack parts, which the reg. upcoming Grim Skull set doesn't seem to have. Therefore, if I want the Grim Skull in all his repainted Skull Jack goodness, I'll have to get the Value Packs.

[glow=aqua,2,300] Ahhhh...then it looks like you answered your own previous question then.

You'll probably find some use for the IF parts at some point. I suppose as a very last resort you could auctionning them on ebay like some guy did with small parts lots. Personally I find such lots pretty lame though..

[glow=aqua,2,300]I'd never use a bunch of them, but I don't make lots of wild morphed characters with several characters body parts either. I'm pretty much a person who modifies a little but stays within the species main framework.
The ebay sellingunwanted parts thing is a dead end though. I don't think that guy got one bidder on any of those auctions. Which I actually kind of liked.

Yeah, I prefer his auctions bombed honestly. Those were just too weird and had no purpose I think.

You hit the nail on the head, SS. I don't mix and match Species either. The Neo Sapiens stay Neo Sapiens, Sectoids stay Sectoids, etc. The only "cross breeding" I've done is combine Alpha Ranger and Sledge Trooper parts, which was before I knew of the Omega Guard. Then I thought, "Well, this is cool, but it needs something more." So I used parts from the Shadow Blade as well. I had one badass 4 legged walking death machine. Then I tore it apart and put the respective figures back the way they were. The other one I've done is of course the Grim Skull with Inferno Fury parts. I saw an awesome figure done on allnerdreview that used the eyeball head on the 'Skull's body, along with all the other IF parts. It's really cool.

Yeah, I prefer his auctions bombed honestly. Those were just too weird and had no purpose I think. Only one of his auctions ended with a bid and that was for the lot of Power Glyphs, for $.99 by me. I asked him if he'd take $15 shipped for everything he had up for auction and he went for it...so I got around 150 random pieces for less then half of what they would cost new. Granted not any of the useful torso, hip, leg or arm pieces but I figure they'll be nice to have handy at some point down the road I am going to e-mail him again and find out exactly what he's got going on though because he has a ton more pieces up for auction right now and claims to have 1000's of extra pieces. Unless of course he's someone who frequents this board in which case feel free to let us all know exactly what you're doing that you have all of these extra pieces

lol way to go CJK, glad you could get all the parts for cheap. I wonder what he did with the hips, arms and torso parts though. They'd only make bare bodies. Maybe he needed them for customs or something...

[glow=aqua,2,300]I just hope he's not lifting those parts from the store and then reselling them on Ebay.

That's a thought, SS. He could be cutting the little compartment open and taking the bags with the extra pieces and glyphs out. Or he works in the factory where they're packaged and takes them then. Either way it sounds fishy.

True, I'd really like to know what's his deal..so many pieces for sale..
I doubt he's taking the bagged parts from the store cause then we'd seen at least some arms and legs in his lots.

I've been waiting to get my package from him before I ask him where he's getting all of the pieces but his newest batch of auctions includes all of the pieces that come with an Alpha Ranger plus he has 10 of each piece available. So that's 10 complete Alpha Rangers that he has opened and split up
