Its a common practice on the Transformers boards to search the Trademark Database for new Transformers names. Hasbro trademarks everything they can, so you can sometimes catch a glimpse into the future if you can read the data. If you notice, some of the names they are using are not copyrighted, like Grim Skull and Alpha Guard. Its easier for Transformers to be checked, since they have to list in the description of goods that it is a transforming toy....so after I eliminated those, and the other obvious My Little Pony names, here are the possibilities:
ALREADY CONFIRMED (at Toy Fair 04 and Toyfare magazine): (no listing for Gun Slinger - maybe too generic; Mattel had it in 1997) Moon Stalker Iron Spectre Hemo Goblin Shield Breaker Cryo Katana Street Punk Storm Wing Transcorcher
MAY BE FUTURE XEVOZ (or Joes or who knows what): Preda Crawler (maybe the thing Cyro is fighting in the pics?) Infil-Traitor Hyper Guardian Crypt Curse Tomb Wraith

[glow=aqua,2,300]I'm willing to bet a 2 pack that Crypt Curse is the figure that has the Anubis (Egyptian head) we've seen on Xevoz.com.
Thanks for the info....

I've looked through that Trademark info trying to do the same thing a few times but I'm just not experienced enough with it to sort through all the crap Thanks for doing the work, I've been dying to know what was hiding in there! ;D I may take you up on that 2-pack bet Squishee. I'd put my money on Tomb Wraith actually. Crypt reminds me more of a skletal cemetary type thing where as tomb ties better into the Egyptian theme. Is the bet on?

[glow=aqua,2,300]Yeah, it really could go either way. A wraith being a ghost I figured that would be the way they would go with the Tomb Wraith. The Crypt Curse name leads me to think of mummies and Egyptian curse lore. So that was my thinking on that choice. Looks like the unnaturals are going to be a big booth either way you look at it or could these possibily fall under the Runics species?

I was thinking about those Runics as well but I'm still aiming for more of a medieval time frame for them. Not to mention more human like. Actually I guess the best way to decsribe my idea for them would be Neo Sapiens who don't follow the King but instead some ancient religion. Thus seperating them from the Neo Sapiens into their own species...then again I could be completely wrong Only time will tell

Lets just hope those names are indeed for the Xevoz line. They sound pretty cool. I was thinking Tomb Wraith for the Anubis type figure actually. But like you said, it could go either way. I just wanna see the friggin toys already

thanks for the list, dr.kent okay so... Moon Stalker= wolf guy Iron Spectre=? Hemo Goblin= vampire/green goblin wannabe Shield Breaker=? Cryo Katana=ice guy? Street Punk=pink mohawk Storm Wing=hawk Transcorcher=transformer
Infil-Traitor=? Hyper Guardian= sounds like an ultimate elemental? Crypt Curse=maybe anubis? Tomb Wraith=maybe anubis?
can you guys match up any of the other names for me?

Moon Stalker= wolf guy Iron Spectre=Yellow guy that comes with the case Hemo Goblin= vampire/green goblin wannabe Shield Breaker= Green and Black guy Cryo Katana=ice guy Street Punk=pink mohawk Storm Wing=Eagle Transcorcher= Orange and Black vehicle (not a transformer )
Infil-Traitor=? Hyper Guardian= sounds like an ultimate elemental? Crypt Curse=maybe anubis? Tomb Wraith=maybe anubis?
I'd definetly agree that Hyper Guardian sounds like the "boss" of the rest of the Hyper Furies. Possibly a fig made up of all the elements? Infil-Traitor makes me think along the lines of a Biomecha spy....or maybe better yet a Neo Sapien spy dressed to look like a Biomecha...then again it could also be for an upcoming GIJoe item as it does have that kind of ring to it

thanks for filling in some of the blanks, cjk. you may be right about the infil-traitor. most xevoz names are two words, not a contraction.

Quick Slinger might be it...ran it through TESS, no matches. Still could be it - Hasbro is not copyrighting all the names, it seems. DoctorKent Actually, I think the cowboy figure is Quick Slinger.

I think one of those two names might belong to this Xevoz: www.ringofcollectors.com/images/ToyFair2004/hasbro/xvzgrimskull1.jpgI honestly don't beleive that Hasbro would release a TRU exclsuive Grim Skull, then re-vamp it & release it as a regular figure. Plus after information EntertainmentEarth.com told us, I'm stickin' to my guns that the Tomb Wraith this in fact the "Grim Skull v2.0" figure shown at Toy Fair. It has to be...right? -Boglin
