Hey, just wondering if there's any Wisconsin collectors out there. I've found all of Wave 1 at my West Side Madison TRU. Haven't tried the East Side, but maybe tomorrow. Wave 1 is still abundant, so it may be a while until Wave 2 gets here.

Hey, I'm also in Madison! It looks like the first wave is selling at the West TRU, but they must have ordered a lot of it to begin with. LMK if the East side TRU has anything, I never get around to stopping by there, but I try to hit the West one once a week or so when new figures are showing up.

Hey, good to see someone else in the Mad City area. I'm heading up tomorrow night(Wed. 28th), so I'll see what I can find. Probably nothing new, but hey, I'll at least get a couple figures, even if they are Wave 1.
While you're at it, feel free to join. It's(you guessed it) free, and a great group of collectors.

Any luck? I've been busy with homework and haven't had a chance to look for anything in about a week.

No Wave 2 yet, but the Wave 1 selection is getting down there. Which is fine by me, because I love the Wave 1 stuff. Someone keeps hiding the Skull Jacks about 16 feet down from the Xevoz display in those upper bins at the West Side TRU. It's really aggrivating. But I find them, so no biggie. The only Wave 2 figure I'm really after is Sky Grinder. Of course I'll get them all at least once, but the Wave 1 stuff will definitely tide me over until I get the new stuff.

You didn't clear out all the Skull Jacks *and* Grim Skulls by any chance, did you? They had 1 rack of Grim Skulls and 1 of Omega Guard, now they're down to just the Omegas. I want more Grim Skulls!!! Of course, that was the West Side, so we'll see what the East Side brings.

Nope, haven't picked anything up in 3 weeks or so. I checked the West TRU and they had nothing new and the Target doesn't have anything yet either.

Greetings from Milwaukee - I've done a fairly complete sweep of TRU's & Targets in the past week (thanks to my fabulous toy-enabling wife) and have seen nothing but a (dwindling) supply of Wave 1; with the exception of one solitary Sky Grinder at a Target (didn't grab it, as it's definitely the least appealing of the sets I've seen). Ended up ordering SB, DS, & the MS/HG sets online (from Wizard World, BTW) as I have a feeling that since Wave 2 hasn't shown up yet, it may just get lost in the shuffle.
Nothing at the few KMarts & WalMarts I ventured into, but the less said about those disaster areas the better. However, I have found several in the Osco Drug portion of a few of the thousand or so Jewel/Oscos in the area, so that's encouraging.
I guess I don't mind the hunting aspect of this, because it's sweet when you actually find something new, but I have to say that their marketing/distribution strategy seems a little odd to me.
Anyhow, I'll keep you posted - this has the potential to be a great thread, especially considering the price of gas nowadays . . .

[glow=blue,2,300]Wow, Wizardworld huh? They are very high end aren't they? D&S toys usually has everything in stock and they sell for Target prices.
I wouldn't worry to much about missing out on wave 2. Wave 3 will come packed with wave 2 refreshers too so if people missed out initially they will have plenty of opportunity to catch up.
I used to think that Sky Grinder was the weakest wave 2 set too, until I bought them all. Ibquickly found out he's actually quite a bit better than Shock Berserker and Dune Stinger once I pulled them out and started playing with them. His parts are awesome for customizing. I think if you get a chance and he's still there you should reconsider picking him up.

Good to have another Wisconsinite here. I'm pretty quiet most of the time, but when I find something new I'll report it. I'm not sure if DVD left or if he's just been quiet because of the lack of anything new for so long.
Guess it's worth doing an update here, even though I haven't found anything new yet.
I talked to the Customer Service guy at the West TRU last week, he says that a shipment of Xevoz has been on order, but he doesn't know when anything will be coming, sounds like it should have already gotten there but there was some sort of mix up. Nothing at Target, haven't checked the East TRU or Wal-Mart.
I was in Janesville about a week and a half ago and they had some MS/HG two packs and wave 1 basics.
I got my TS/SP pack from Wizard World for 24.99 (I think) not too bad of a price, I'm planning on picking up Shock and Dune from them as well, don't know where to look to find a Sky Grinder in stock. I'm probably going to preorder wave 3 figs individually from EE while they are still taking them.

Just FYI - I was out at Target in Brookfield last night, and in addition to the usual smattering of Wave 1 stuff they had 3 Sky Grinders . . .on sale for $8.48, no less.
Picked one up (I guess I've got completist fever now; oh well), but I couldn't remember if anyone else was still looking for one. Let me know if I should grab the others should I get out that way again . . .

Me again - I posted this elsewhere, but just in case I thought I'd let my WI cohorts in on the fact that there's a brand new super-Target in Milwaukee on South 43rd street (Miller Parkway) that was fully stocked with Waves 1, 2, and some of 3 (Iron Spectre/Transporter, Sky Grinder). Hopefully they'll keep up with new developments, as people (including myself) already seem to be depleting their stock.

Damn, it's been a while. Bandini, I was just at TRU West last Wednesday night, and I asked the guy about having Xevoz in the back. "Well, we don't really know what we have in the back or what we're getting in until it gets here." My ass. They don't know what they have in the back? So they have no backstock system set up? Yeah right. Why must idiots work there? I've worked in retail, I know what it takes. But c'mon, don't lie to your friggin customers.
Btw, I've been off the boards for a while because I simply lost interest. I had that bout where I bought every friggin figure I could get my hands on, but now I'll wait for Wave 2. I'm really trying *not* to buy online, because that will lead to a flood that won't stop. So until I see Wave 2 hit, I'm holding off.
