Damn, it's been a while. Bandini, I was just at TRU West last Wednesday night, and I asked the guy about having Xevoz in the back. "Well, we don't really know what we have in the back or what we're getting in until it gets here." My ass. They don't know what they have in the back? So they have no backstock system set up? Yeah right. Why must idiots work there? I've worked in retail, I know what it takes. But c'mon, don't lie to your friggin customers. Btw, I've been off the boards for a while because I simply lost interest. I had that bout where I bought every friggin figure I could get my hands on, but now I'll wait for Wave 2. I'm really trying *not* to buy online, because that will lead to a flood that won't stop. So until I see Wave 2 hit, I'm holding off. I know how that goes. Wisconsin, or at least this area of it, never seems to get any action figures in on time (the Milwaukee area seems to have better luck than us). I've decided to go the online route, first line I've done that with, but I've given up on other lines in the past because of the difficulty in finding figures around here. The good thing about Xevoz is that the cases are pretty evenly packed so that stores like EE can sell the figures individually, and even if you were to buy a case you won't get stuck with a bunch of varients or leftovers. My wallet is going to hurt in August when Wave 3 ships, but I know that I'm going to get them all eventually anyhow, so I might as well know they're coming and save the gas. Well, hopefully things'll look up soon. I heard there was some deal with a lot of figures being stuck in customs in the past couple weeks, maybe that'll clear up and we'll see some new stock. Otherwise, there's no harm in getting one or two figs online to tide you over, the easiest way to lose interest in a line is a lack of new product.

WI update: Found the SP/TS set at the TRU on S. 27th St. on Sat - they had 4-5 of them (along with a restock of 15(!) or so SB/BC sets and more Wave 1 peg figures - when will they get out of that rut?). I'm with Bandini as far as the ordering online thing goes - much easier, in my opinion (and cheaper, when you compare all of the factors). The only reason that I had been holding off on the Transcorcher set was due to the disparity between somewhat outrageous prices and my actual desire for the set. However, I just received a big order from www.goodstufftogo.netvery nice people, and the order came two days after I placed it. Until Hasbro gets its act together regarding distribution, I guess online is the way to go.

Happy day, oh happy day! Transcorcher/Street Punk set is at TRU West. Only $20!! I thought it was supposed to be $25? Anyhow, it's mine. Target finished their reset, and no Xevoz.

Found one each of the Sky Grinder, Dune Stinger, and Shock Berzerker at Shopko West in Madison. Sky Grinder is awesome, Dune Stinger rocks, and I'm still on the fence about Berzerker. I've already made some mods to him to make him cooler in my book.

That wasn't much of a mod. I just turned the lower legs and feet a little to the side, so he stands better. The sideways feet thing just doesn't seem to work well on him.

For new figures, I found Tomb Wraith and Crypt Curse today at the Monroe Shopko. They also had 2 Shield Breakers, 1 Quickslinger(which I picked up), another Crypt Curse(which I got for my g/f), an Inferno Fury, Sledge Trooper, and Sky Grinder. Wanted to buy them all, but couldn't. Maybe next week.

Finally picked up some more figures. Monroe Shopko came through again, so I got StormWing(only one I've seen), another Tomb Wraith(only the second I've seen), and another each of the ShieldBreaker and Quickslinger. They had more, but I just couldn't do it. In the past week I've spent $150 on toys alone. My wallet dislikes me.
