More pics, man! For the love of Cthulu!
How many did they have, tons? Has your Target fully rebooted yet?

I'll get some more pix up tonight after work... I found it at a brand new Super target that opened in my neck of the woods (Katy, TX) and they had at least three more...

whoa. didn't think he was out yet. he's wave3, right? any signs of quick slinger or storm wing while you were there?
i'd like to see the pics. whether i buy him or not is going to be a tough choice. i'd like to have him, but i dunno if it's worth 25 bucks for a figure with useless case [useless to me at least]

I'm with the Slift on this one. The figure itself seems really cool, but it seems like kind of a scam to have it exclusively available with an incredibly expensive (and, quite frankly, inessential to those not into the game aspect of it all) accessory. Not a good precedent to set, in my opinion.

[glow=red,2,300]He looks great! I'll buy him quick at Target for $25. I doubt I buy any multiples though at that price.

Not a good precedent to set, in my opinion. Really? Because it sounds like a real smart strategy to me. Who would buy the case with no figure incentive? Not nearly as many. It gets the game out there and will drive pure figure collectors to spend 25 dollars. In the sense you feel cheated in having desire for the figure and not wanting the case, you have my sympathy. But to call it a bad precedent, especially if better sales equal a long Xevoz line of product? Come on, now.

The interest in the game around here seems to be low for the most part. People feel scammed for having to buy a case for an exclusive figure, but: a) people don't have to collect them all. Iron Spectre/ $25, Transporter Case/$0 = not worth it? Then skip him. b) toylines since the beginning of time have had desirable figures/accessories that you had to buy a ludicrous figure repaint, vehicle or accessory to get. So we can only state opinions, GL. I want the case, I want the figure, I guess I will get a good amount of value for my buck. DoctorKent Really? Because it sounds like a real smart strategy to me. [glow=red,2,300]I don't think it's going to preform that well. Traditionally larger ticket items that push themselves mainly on an exclusive figure such as this don't. The higher price point items almost always end up on clearence to move them once a few hardcore collectors such as ourselves get one at full price.
The second thing I see that hurts this is the fact that it's mainly a game based accessory. Yes, just like Loverboy the game has always sucked. It is only going to have a lasting novelty appeal to the very, very young and then how many are going to chose it when they can buy multiple figures in the scant few times they have $25 or more when they have to blow on toys. I just think it has a very small limited appeal based on which aspect of the toys they chose it to appeal too. If it had a built in playset then it might do better or it may not make a difference.
I also think the pricepoint and the smallish sorting case makes it limited in appeal to army builders and customizers like me. I will look to pick up multiples, but only when they are moved to clearence prices. The cases will then go into storage until my boys are old enough to play the game if it even appeals to them.
That's just my 2 cents on it.

Maybe Hasbro knows it won't (and simply cannot) perform as well as regular kits and lowered the production number. Like SS mentionned, kids'll want to have as many figs as they can with the $25. Very few kids will spend it on the carrying case. Other than that, there's us, completists and fans.
