I claim this board in the name of Randonia!
I wanted the skinny on Marvel Legends' Man-Thing--not just how good or bad he is, but where could I FIND the damn thing?
Man Thing is the only super hero I ever really liked as a kid, and it would be nice if this fig did him justice...

I haven't even found Deadpool yet.
I guess a WM near me had series 8 today, but when I got there, there wasn't even a Cap left on the shelves to show for it.
Amazon seems to be getting series 8 in sporatically. Might be worth checking.

I've seen one Man Thing figure in a local toy store here in mid january. It looked pretty cool, but I only picked up Iron Man and Cap (what an awesome fig!)
If you're desperate Randy, lemme know and I can check if it's still available.

Thanks, guys--I don't need him just yet, as my entire toy budget is no earmarked for scavenging whatever xevoz remain. I've never bought a Marvel Legends figure before, and the only one I ever see in stores is Beast, who looks pretty crappy. But I've never heard of these things being absolutely impossible to get, right? (At least it's being released in America... )

(At least it's being released in America... ) Well yeah at least here, I can find pretty much any Marvel Legends figures (save for the chase figs) as they come out. Unlucky with Xevoz, lucky with ML I guess.

Man-Thing is cool, and the fact that Toy Biz even MADE a character as obscure as Man-Thing is even cooler!
He is one of the best ML figures done to date in my opinion. If you can find him at WalMart for like $7 he is a great figure!

man thing is available loose on ebay, usually in lots, so you might have to get a couple the "unmen" you know the villians from that great series from the early 90's made by kenner, but they are pretty cool. also, you should check out dc.com for......what? huh? oh MAN thing......sorry. wait, aren't they the same dude?

Man-Thing is cool, and the fact that Toy Biz even MADE a character as obscure as Man-Thing is even cooler! IMO, the reason why they release some more obscure characters is because they're running out of better known characters. I too find it cool they're making these obscure figures though. Future ML waves have me worried a bit though..one upcoming wave will be Legendary riders or something like that. Where every fig comes with a motorcyle. I'm sorry, but I find that pretty weak.

Man, by calling that upcoming wave "Legendary Riders", they're just begging for wisecracks and bad jokes . . . .
