Oh, btw rupert--if you get a microman, I would reccomend only getting one cheap one, first. Like I said, these things are WEIRD, and you don't want to be out 17 bucks if you end up not liking them.
Triskela--for the loose parts--have you tried poster putty? I'm gonna pick up some tonight to try and get acrocleve's 'ears' to stay on...

[glow=red,2,300]toys are one thing, but to have the real deal. can't beat that.
i wonder if that was the way to lure "collectors" into buying these figures? i see it everywhere from comic books, to video games. in a real battle, wouldn't such "assets be a hinderance? i think it would because my fiancee doesn't like to dance or run. i can see why. so is this creative design or deliberate marketing? inquiring minds want to know.[/glow]

Not all of the Micro females have those proportions. And speaking only for myself, I like the variety of body types offered by Microman toys. The larger breasted women tend to be the "bad girl" Acroyears. Silly.
And in terms of big breasted women engaging in phyically demanding activities, I think it depends on the woman and the quality of her bras. I have occasionally heard a woman complain of pain from too much jostling, but I have also known women with DD cups to letter in basketball or soccer - both pretty demanding sports. I have to admit a predilection for very tall, very curvy women. I have dated several at over 6 foot in height, and at least a DD cup in bra size. It just depends on the individual lady in question.

[glow=red,2,300]wow, triskela. i am impressed. i will take your word on your comment. i tip my hat to you. we have much in common. my fiancee is 36dd and sports bras are a dilemma.
but to keep in the thread subject......how does the microman line stack up against, say, marvel legends' double knee and elbow joints?[/glow]

All I have is the Galactus figure. And Microman toys are very fragile by comparison. The Microman articulation is great though.
It's funny, because some Microman pieces have a lot of flexibility. AcroBiom's tail seems pretty Xevoz-like to me, very flexible too.
I don't know - the Microman line might be going through a learning phase as they get more popular. People do not want a toy that breaks too easily.
And hey, about the women we date, everyone likes what they like. No big. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes for all people.

I like the microman double elbows and knees better than the marvel. The micromen are more gracile, and less thick than the marvel figs, whose over-sculpted muscles tend to get in the way. Another thing I hate about the Marvel legends line is their lack of cross-figure proportion. For example--in pics, it looks like bullseye's head is twice as large as daredevil's. Also, the SOTA atreetfighter line blows toybiz to shreds. Uh...imho.
However, I have yet to find a microman that can actually hold its own weapon. I also noticed that the bad girl microchicks wear high heels...

In my opinion, the Microman articulation kicks a** on Marvel Legends, for the simple reason that the joints are tight enough to allow the figure to be posed and not collapse when it is set down. Like I've said before, all the points of articulation in the world won't mean a thing if the figure can't stand up on its own, or at least HOLD a pose.
Plus the Microman figures can be arranged in more realistically "human" poses - partially due to the body shapes, but also due to the shoulder & hip joints.
BTW, what does everyone use to keep the hands on? That's my only real complaint - the pegs are often too small for the wrist holes. . .

I don't have too much of a problem with the wrists staying on, but if yours keeps falling off, a coating of clear nail polish will work you wonders.
Works great with loose Microman joints too.

Well, I've finally made it back to Xevolution, and it looks like Microman is better than ever...
First, we have the Road Spartan series. Delta Phantom and Ride Python look awesome! They've also got pictures of the Alien and Predator figures.
Better yet, it looks like three of the Magne Force figures are now available: Achilles, Phobos and Atlas. All three are listed at BigBadToyStore.
I MUST HAVE PHOBOS! ;D

If anyone is still looking for a few of the past year or two Micromen, let me know. I a couple I am looking to part with. They are fine and still some in the boxes, but I didn't find them as cool as I thought I would. PM me if you are interested.
