GF - I got him for $13 (Priced at 14, but I used my discount for ya). Send me a PM if you want to proceed with this. $13 is a great price man. I'm definitely interested. How much would shipping be? Thanks for checking it out for me, I appreciate it!

Thanks for checking it out for me, I appreciate it! Give me a day to get all that figured out. Unfortunately I work 10 hours a day over 4 days, so getting free time to do personal stuff is limited. I'll work on getting the item ready for shipping and I should be able to get a shipping quote by tomorrow afternoon.

The Transformers Club announced the exclusives for Botcon this year. Among them, of course, are Classics Dirge, Thrust, and Thundercracker.
Total cost for the set (which includes 2 other figures): $329 for non-members...

I think that this may be the first time I drop cash like that on Transformers. All the seekers? Sweet.

Dang! What? Is Hasbro starting to sell on eBay or something?

"$329 for non-members" Ha-ha, F U Hasblow. ~SS~ That's not Hasbro's doing, that's the Transformers Collectors Club/ Master Collector's doing. Same reason why Master Collector (for G.I. Joe convention) has the Con Exclusives 15 figure pack at $240+ for non-members ($200 for members)

I think that is REALLY lame...there's no way I can spend that kind of money on a few retools/repaints. Looks like I'll have to make my own remaining seekers...
I understand these are supposed to be exclusives and all, but the price is just insane IMO.

Doesn't matter to me who's ultimately at fault. The fact is that greedy little stunt killed off any interest I had in collecting this line. In the end Hasbro loses out on my patronage. Maybe they shouldn't kowtow and slice their own throats by making ultra expensive collectors sets of characters to the tranformers fan club to highball fans when they could sell hundreds of thousands of these repaints and slight remodels in retail stores at $10 a shot.

In all truth, Classics is a dead line and Hasbro never had any intention of releasing mass-market versions of the other Seekers. The Master Collector folks saw a great opportunity and got permission from Hasbro to release these figures.
I'd rather have them as $10 figures myself, personally. And I doubt I'll get this set. But over 600 people have already preregistered for Botcon, so plenty of people are willing to pay.

Well, looks like it was a good decision to pick up those extra Starscreams and Ramjets afterall. No way in Hell am I spending that kind of money on the collector set.

That just goes to show you how dumb Hasblow is if that is indeed their stance. The Transformers Classics line is easily one of their best toy products in years from their "flagship" boys lines. What did these monkeys wearing ties geniuses do? They made it a filler line and killed off more fan interest in it coming back by doing a silly stunt like this with the obsessive gotta have it at any price fringe crowd and angers those who aren't silly with their money. They could have made 600 sales of these figures in my hometown of Texarkana alone had they a speck of future vision.
Oh well, no money for them from me and I'm sure I'm among the mass majority of non-super obsessed Transformers toy buyers on this.

I used to be a "super obsessed Transformers toy buyer". But since the last couple of years, there has been so many store and convention exclusives that I've lost almost all interest in buying TF toys. TF Classics renewed that interest a little, but learning about the Botcon 07 set, I'm disappointed. Again.
The way I see it, Hasbro is freaking stupid for not releasing these toys themselves (even sometime after the movie toys have hit would have been ok with me). And I also think it's too bad Master Collector can't sell the set for a more decent price. I'm sure if they could they would have, but it's not the case it seems.
