I finally received my Revoltech figures. All in all, I'm happy with them. I do have two complaints, however:
1.) Shin Getter Robo-1's right shoulder fell off shortly after I removed it from the box. It wasn't too much of a problem, as the glue holding it together simply came loose. A dab of Super Glue fixed that minor annoyance.
2.) EVA Unit 01's leg broke at the right thigh’s swivel joint--again, right out of the dang box. This required a bit of work on my part to repair 01's leg, as I had to do some careful drilling and create a new swivel post from a metal pin in order to fix it. In the end, you can't tell that it was ever broken, but I was still pretty upset when it happened. (I have four different versions of EVA Unit 01, three of which broke in various places shortly after I opened them. Am I cursed or something?)
Considering the price of these figures, I wish they held up a bit better than they do. Still, I like them quite a bit. I doubt that I'll buy any more of the human figures, but I do intend to finish out the NGE figures, pick up the forthcoming Transformers, and score any robots that simply strike my fancy.
Meanwhile, since this seems to be an umbrella line, which characters or mechs would you guys like to see given the Revoltech treatment? One of my choices would be Dangaioh. The anime was nothing spectacular, but the mech design was one of my favorites of all time. Furthermore, if Dangaioh was ever done up in toy form, I’m totally unaware of it. Those points considered, the Big D would be one of my choices.

I missed them the first time around because of the price, but I wouldn't mind seeing the original Knight Sabers from the Bubblegum Crisis series make an appearance to this line, including a boomer and perhaps the DD unit that was in episode 4. I'm really delighted to know that Patlabor will be coming out in this line! ;D

Excellent choice, Bleighdzes! (When I saw the prices on those recent figures, it almost crushed me.) The Revoltech system would suit them as perfectly as it does the EVAs. I'd definitely be on board for those.... Another that I'd like would be Gally/Alita from Battle Angel Alita, but I'm not sure how well she'd come off in the Revoltech line. Also, Jubei from Ninja Scroll might be cool. I'd just be happy to see well done action figures of those two characters in any form.

I totally forgot about her, but yeah, definitely Gally would be a good addition! ;D
I'm wondering if there will be other TFs used along this line. I can't see Optimus being the only character used from this immense line.

Megatron's supposed to show up at some point, as is the Energon version of Prime. I'm hoping the Revoltech TFs will do well, and that we'll see more characters added to the line. Here are some that I'd really like to see at some point:
• Arcee • Bumblebee • Cliffjumper • Cyclonus • Galvatron • Hot Rod • Jetfire • Prowl • Scorponok • Shockwave • Soundwave • Starscream • Ultra Magnus
I'll stop there, but there are a bunch more that I'd like to see in the line that I didn't list. If I keep going, I'll wind up naming most of the characters from the first three seasons of G1. ;D

Heh, I could go for some Bubblegum Crisis figures, I have a few Bubblegum figures, paid through the nose for them though, something like 50 a pop. I would love to see anything from Big O. I loved those guys, though I never saw Big O himself as being black, I saw him as purple. I will finish off the NGE figures in this line, I hae been looking for new NGE figures with good articulation. I found them. They are a bit pricey, but cheap comapred to many other NGE figures out there. Patlabor is coming to this line right? I am excited about that, mechanized police always appealed to me.

The only thing I'm waiting for from this line is the Optimus Prime, and hopefully more transformers will come.

Click the link below to check out a slew of forthcoming Revoltech figures... including the extremely cool G1 Optimus Prime! toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=51213&sid=52b60e670e4b92220395852b79e1a9b5Man, there are some sweet looking Revoltechs we have coming our way. Optimus looks great, and I'll get all the NGE stuff too. I don't know who/what some of the others pictured are (Maybe a few figures made specifically for the Revoltech line?), but they all look good to me. My wallet weeps as the kid in me rejoices. Meanwhile, I still wish there was a way to get only the joints themselves....

Some of those bots shown towards the end of the link you provided look sweet. I'm thinking I may get more robots from this toy line, even those released that I did not pick up yet. A little earlier today, I was thinking of one more considerable addition to Revoltech - I was never really big on the character, but I could see the fig being made - Tekkaman Blade.

I wonder if Gundam will jump on the revoltech bandwagon?

Wow, Gundam? That would keep Revoltech busy for a long time.

What's with that one extra hand that looks like it's holding something blue?

What's with that one extra hand that looks like it's holding something blue? I think that white/blue hand is actually an 'accessory' that you use to have Magnus and Prime having a handshake. The white side connects to one arm of Magnus and the blue side to one of Prime's arm.
