Has anyone been able to score any extra nunchuks? I can't find them on sale and in stock anywhere. I can't wait until some of the more anticapted titles come out like SMG, MP#3, SSBB, and AC:W. Is there any talk of a Pikmin title seeing a release on the Wii? ~SS~

SS
I can only speak for the store I work at, but I know we're supposed to be getting more systems, remotes, nunchucks and classics controllers next week. I'm still without a classic controller myself. The demand for the Wii is really, really high. A lot higher than what it is for PS3 in fact.

I'm still without a classic controller myself. The demand for the Wii is really, really high. A lot higher than what it is for PS3 in fact. I've noticed the same thing at Target. I believe it's mainly because of 1 - the price, 2 - the fact that you don't need some fancy Hi-def television to connect to it and 3 - the fact that it shouldn't be in as much of a shortage as the PS3. A lot of people have hopes on getting it for the holiday season simply because theres the inclination that it shouldn't be as difficult to obtain as a PS3. In a related story, we're selling out of the Nintendo DS units and XBox 360 is also a hot item. FYI - Buy the New Super Mario Bros for DS at Target and get a $20 gift certificate. I wish I waited.

Woo Hoo! Thanks Yakko, I got two additional nunchucks from Dell. That almost makes up for their annoying teenager spokes guy from several years back.

I'm hearing rumors that the alternate colors, or just the black Wii will come out either in March or later towards the summer. Anyone hearing the same or other news?

How are you guys enjoying Wii Sports? I'm afraid I'm a bit addicted.
Can you play online and exchange Miis with a WIFI MAX hookup to your computer?

I'm hearing rumors that the alternate colors, or just the black Wii will come out either in March or later towards the summer. Anyone hearing the same or other news? If the N64, GBA, GBA SP, DS and DS Lite are any indication, I'm betting we'll indeed see colored Wii's in '07. Nintendo usually starrts off with one color and will release different others after a while. The Gamecube being the exception to the line. How are you guys enjoying Wii Sports? I'm afraid I'm a bit addicted. Can you play online and exchange Miis with a WIFI MAX hookup to your computer? ~SS~ I haven't tried the training program in Wii Sports yet, but I do enjoy playing all the different sports. Baseball and boxing a bit less, but they're still fun one in a while. Can you play online and exchange Miis with a WIFI MAX hookup to your computer? ~SS~ Online play isn't available yet. It's coming in '07. You can exchange Miis with other people as long as you have added them to your address book. People need to add you too in order to be able to wrtie to each other or exchange Miis. I'm not too sure what WiFi Max is, but any wireless router should let your Wii connect to the internet (For email, exchanging Miis or shopping). Or, you can buy the Nintendo WiFi USB adaptor if you don't have a wireless router. The Wii has a specific setting if you're using that adaptor.

I'm thinking there's a fortune waiting for someone who can just provide a much stronger material to attach wrist straps to the Wiimotes. I'm not worried I will lose one and cave in my TV screen but my 7 year old and 5 year old do give me a cause for concern.

I envy you guys. Boy, time can't move fast enough for the alter-colored units to start hitting store shelves.
