I'm curious about something....
With the Wii, there is that ability to download old Nintendo games from previous consoles. Would this also include the ability to download games that were not released for US markets? I remember one particluar game that I was looking for to release on the N64, but only released in Japan - Neon Genesis Evangelion. Does anyone know if the library will include games from all regions?

Heh, doing a Google searched just found my answer. The answer is yes!!! Per nwiizone.com, "Using this Virtual Console service, users will have the ability to download and play many or all Nintendo-produced NES/Famicom, SNES/Super Famicom, and N64 games for a small fee.....In addition, gamers may be able to download games that were not originally released in their region, and some multiplayer games may be playable online"

Bleighdzes Indeed you will be able to do that. As long as companies decide to release these Japanese (or otherwise) games that is. The only game I know of right now that's supposed to be available for the first time in North America is Nintendo's Sin and Punishment for the N64. I'm pretty happy about it since I was looking forward to that title a lot. Hopefully more publishers will let us download their games and I imagine that if there's enough demand for unreleased titles like Sin and Punishement, we'll see more of them. I wouldn't mind playing the N64 Evangelion game myself

Question do you need to have a wireless internet connection for this to work? Per Nintendo's Wii website: "The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via IEEE 802.11 or a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor. Wii also can connect wirelessly with Nintendo DS."

Per Nintendso's Wii website: "The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via IEEE 802.11 or a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor. Wii also can connect wirelessly with Nintendo DS." I have also read rumors that the Wii might be compatible with the Nintendo DS WiFi adapter. That sure would make things simpler for families that have no idea what wireless internet is about.

"The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via IEEE 802.11 or a USB 2.0 LAN adaptor. Wii also can connect wirelessly with Nintendo DS." uhhmmmmm I not really sure what that means It means that if you have a wireless router at your house, the Wii will be able to connect to that to establish it's network connection with the Wii network and play games online with others. It should also be able to connect with the DS as well, again, without the aid of wires. 'IEEE 802.11' is just the technical way of saying 'Wireless Local Area Network'. The USB 2.0 LAN adaptor is what you would need if you do not have a wireless router in your house. I believe you would need to connect the adaptor to your router via the aid of an ethernet/RJ45 cable.

Got one at TRU in Times Square, they had like 7000+ it was a very well organized affair, except for they didn't have any of the bar codes in the system and had to type in the SKU numbers. Got Zelda and Trauma Center. Zelda plays very well, and Trauma center is pretty intense. Tennis is probably my favorite WiiSports game. I just wish they would release the component video cable soon so I could play in 480p. At this point I'm sure its the same as my gamecube one, but the plug has a different shape, and i dont want to cut up my old one.
