The shadowy being known only as M-2 is renowned throughout Zeotopia both for its combat skills and the cloak of mystery surrounding it: Where did it come from? What are its allegiances? Is it man, woman, robot, or something else? Further, what is the source of its advanced Xevolutionary ability to absorb defeated foes' powers and channel them through its arm cannon? Questions like these will probably go unanswered as M-2 rarely remains in one place for long, choosing instead to wander Zeotopia with a purpose known only to itself.

Although I almost lost interest in this custom half-way through, I really am satisfied with it now that its complete. The original inspiration for this custom came from two of my favorite classic Nintendo characters: Mega Man and Samus Aran (from Metroid). After the paint application and addition of chest armor and backpack this custom took on a uniqueness of its own.
I also wanted to introduce a new concept into my Xevoz universe with the creation of this custom, namely the idea of Xevoz Legends. M-2 (a nod to Mega Man...2 M's, get it?) didn't seem to fit in any one category, mainly because it had both Neo Sapien and Biomecha elements. Thus, I decided that M-2 should be a unique character in the Xevoz world, like Dr. Hitmar or Genok. After all, all of the figures that we have so far are generic in the sense that the Xevoz world contains many of them (they don't have proper names). The existence of Xevoz Legends opens up the door for me to create more figures that draw upon elements from multiple species without having to combine that figure to one species. Further, the concept makes sense since the Xevoz warriors are supposed to Xevolve, thus changing their "parts" and becoming unique in their own right.
As always, constructive feedback is appreciated. Thanks for looking.
