Good stuff, man! BTW, how well does the paint stick to the figures?

good question. and when i first started it sucked. i had some paints that i used on gundam models, but it doesn't work worth a darn on these figures. drys tackey and was just a pain. the second alpha picture i posted is the first one i ever painted and used the bad paint. also the meta beast is done with it. so, i looked around and got some acrylic paint, and thats the way to go. it holds well and looks smooth and drys really quick. not to forget that acrylic paint is cheap! cheap paint = more figures hope that ramble helped Your_Number1_Fan

Thanks! I figured acrylic was the way to go! I still only have one of every wave 1 figure (and NO wave 2), so I don't plan on painting any. BUT, if I cave and get a double, then perhaps I may customize.

Question, I tried those paint markers and while it dried good and looks great, I keep getting smudges on my finers. Any ideas to help?
BTW, freakin awesome bugs.

Number1, those are some REALLY cool repaints/customs! I especially love the red armor Razorclaw. It's amazing what paint can do to a figure

Yeah, when I got my first Razorclaw, I played with the stickers awhile, decided I could really get a better looking face with my Testors acrylic paints, and the rest is a rapid spiral into customizing madness. I've had some minor problems with flaking and scratching, but since I paint the figures with a "dirty" look (plenty of blackwash, smears, etc. to make the pretty stylized figures take on a slightly realistic, battleworn look), it just fits in with that style. I just got some Tamiya paints as well, so I'll have to see how those work...
