I few bits and bites here.
The Cybershell R-type's gag piece is a portable TV. I choose that one since the turtles got a lot of their knowledge of humans from watching the tube. I think Raph was particularly fond of cheesy Kung-Fu movies if memory serves.
As for all the other pieces of the predacrawler kits I broke up making these... it's no biggie. I'll use the extra parts for customs. It's a very versatile set for kitbashing so I'll have no problem in putting all those wonderful bits into my future. As a matter of fact I'm planning on putting the extra android heads in an army builder type figure. After all, the shells have to have some hordes to fight and the shredder homage is delayed until I receive wave 4.
The Basic body make up of a the Cybershells kits are
1 Transcorcher kit for the head 1 Predacrawler kit for the body 1 Alpha Ranger or Omega Gaurd kit for the set of shoulders 2 Shield Breakers kits for chest accent piece, forearms, lower legs, and hands 2 Shadow Blades kits for thighs and arm knot accents 1 Sledge Trooper kit for it's crotch 1 Bone Cutter set for the feet
The weapons and gag pieces....
R-type 2 Alphas or Omega gaurds kits for the sais 1 Crypt Curse kit for it's flat staff part (female connection for gag piece) 1 Sky Grinder kit for flight mode propulsion
L-type 2 Shadow Blade kits for short swords 1 Transcorcher kit for 2 peg male connector for gag piece 1 Sky Grinder kit for flight mode propulsion
M-type 2 shadow blade kits for nunchuk handles 4 Quick Slinger kits for the connecting beam 1 Crypt Curse kit for it's flat staff part (female connection for gag piece)
D-type 3 Inferno Fury kits for thier staffs 1 Shock Berserker kit for the lightning/energy accents 2 Predacrawler kit for the 4 way male wheel connector, industrial arm, and claw arm 1 Sky Grinder kit for the medium range missles and for flight mode propulsion 1 Transcorcher kit for the rifles 1 Omega Gaurd kit for the backpack extension arms and big gun rifle stock 1 Shield Breaker kit for the pnuematic rifle extention 1 Street Punk kit for it's hex guns
The V-type will vary some from the basic recipe but no so much that it's unrecognizable.
*Edit* Thanks for the kind words Shane I really appreciate the vote of confidence.

Ha! That's what I'm talking about. Another customizer has come over to the "I use multiple kits in my customs and I'm okay with it" side. Eventually you will all see the genius of my ways...

SS you could always use those extra preda crawler heads to make mousers for the turtles to fight.

Not really, I like the the robotic look of the Alpha shoulders, while the Shadow Blade lends to a more organic look. Since these are Robot Turtles, I think the Alpha Ranger styled shoulders work the best. I bought a lot of pieces from Zovex so I didn't have to completely break-up 5 kits.

Actually, she used chi magic in the Next Mutation series. I'm not going to be incorpating magic into a robotic based figure so I'll be giving her energy projecting abilities (such as Hyper Gaurdian's energy covering for his fist when it's released). I also gave her a archaic type weapon with a futuristic twist: a customized sonic blaster that looks alot like a crossbow.
On other news, I've been doing some work on the unnatural bad guys for this theme. I have a few Silver Spectre pieces completed and two of his underlings (foot soldeirs completely assembled and primed for painting). I may show them after I post my version of Venus.

I know she didn't use a machine gun, it was a joke. She is a NINJA turtle after all. I do have to give you props though for creating her. Besides for the movie was she ever featured or mentioned in any other TMNT related media? It's a good way to incorporate a female character nonetheless. [/b]

I posted what she used to mainly folks, not to correct your joke. Even though I'm sure some unaware members might not skip over the humor and assume she was a gun gatting reptile. I actually couldn't remember what she used as a primary weapon myself until I did some online research.
Venus has never appeared in anything other that the live action TV show as far as I'm aware, but I'm sure it's possible she might have cameoed elsewhere without my knowledge. I know Eastman hates her and has declared she will never surface again as long as he has any creative control. I think that inspired me to dig her out as much as I just wanted to add a female like custom to the mix. I'd love to do an April O'Neil at some point, but my skills will have to improve and grow into that project.
