Although I have been a member for a while this is the first custom I have shown due to the lack of a decent camera. I hope to show more soon.

It's terribly fuzzy but the paint job looks absolutly superb I can't tell what the waist chest or helmet peices are. Could you regail me. Again that paint fob looks absolutly flawless what kind of paint did you use and how many coats

Very neat idea you had to make a stikfas inspired Neo-Sapien Spaceman! I can recognize the white leg and arm pieces, but I'd like to know what you used to make the chest piece and helmet. Also, out of curiosity, did you debate painting the Alpha Ranger's face orange to match the Stikfas figure?
All in all a neat idea that hasn't been seen before. I hope you can mange to take clearer pics too. It would look even better.
Keep it up!

Chest armor is from Sledge Trooper with a Stikfas Spaceman logo piece on it and I would bet the dome is from a quater machine bubble without lid.
Very cool by the way. Paint looks great.

Yes, sorry about the fuzzy pic. I'm not very experienced with taking close up photos. fatshadowmaster is correct. It was the bubble that inspired the whole thing. I used about 4 to 5 coats of Apple Barrel gloss craft paint, believe it or not. I actually never thought of painting the head orange, but its a great idea. Thanks for the comments and I will work on taking better pics.

I agree this looks nice. With nearly all the parts identified, I will take a stab at guessing that the waist piece is a Stikfas belt from either the knight or a super hero fitting an omega male waist. It's nice to see new customs still coming out, all things considered.
Rage, I've found that a tip that Squishee suggested a while back has helped in taking better quality shots.
Rather than taking the camera up close to the object, move the camera back and allow the camera to zoom in on the object being photographed.
I wish I could explain why it works out better, but I'm not a camera expert. I could only guess that perhaps the flash bounces back the light to the camera lens at a greater intensity and off-sets the distance of the picture when the camera is held so closely, but at a farther distance, the lights intensity is not as strong by the time it reaches the camera, or it could be delayed enough to allow the picture to be undisturbed? I don't know really, but in my experience since doing what he mentioned, it has helped greatly.

Taking pics has plagued me for a while. I didn't have many problems with Xevoz, some fuzzyness still, but when I started doing Stikfas the subject was smaller so showing off details was a pain. For me it was the camera. My fiance's parents got us a new digital for X-Mas which helped out a lot. I went from using a really old no megapixel rating one to a 6 megapixel camera and it made a world of difference. Also, play around with distance like Bleighdzes said and the flash and lightning can make a big difference. I've always wanted a light box but never wanted to fork over the cash for one. Here's a link to a make it yourself tutorial. I haven't tried it but it looks easy enough and I bet it would be very helpful. strobist.blogspot.com/2006/07/how-to-diy-10-macro-photo-studio.html

That was a really cool idea. Nice inventiveness with the helmet piece. Looking forward to better photos. To answer one of the photography questions, your shots are blurring because of the f-stops (focal stops, how much the lens iris is opened or closed) can't see enough contrast to focus correctly. Definitely try taking your photos from a distance, zooming in, and upping the pixels if it's a digital or increasing the ISO film to 400 (the higher the ISO #, the more sensitive it is to light) or better. That way you can zoom in, crop, and not lose much picture quality - on either format - in your photos.
