Did you guys try to right click on the link and then choose "save target as"? It worked for me last night and again just now so I know it's there and it works Either way looks good GrayFox! I was kinda curious how the digi cam way would turn out but it seems to be pretty decent, did you use a tripod for your camera or what?

Nice Gray Fox! In answer to your question, almost any camera will work with Xipster. I say "almost" because it's nearly impossible to test every camera out there, and there's bound to be one that wants to be a punk. If you want to use a digital camera or camcorder, though, you'll need some way of getting the live feed to your computer. After that's done, Xipster should read it fine. When do you foresee onionskinning and will the upgrade be free to people that buy Xipster now? Well, after reading the thread, the Big Boss and the programmer went into discussions about it. I'll update you guys when there's an answer. Cool to know you have influence, yea?

Thanks for the kind words. I did use a tripod and marked the spot where the figure stands to make sure it wouldn't move too much. Now all I need is time, a story and backgrounds...nope, this ain't gonna be easy

Not that I think I'll actually summon up the time and energy to get it done, but what frame rate did you use? Just in case I find myself so inclined.

I just loaded every shot I took into Adobe Premiere and changed the speed of each frame to 0.02 second (Not sure it's the right timing, but it looked decent in the end) Then I chained them all and encoded it. It's really the only way I know to do it. There might even be a simpler way.

My stepson and I made these the other day using the Lego Movie Studios software and camera. It looks like the links only work if you right click and "save as" Enjoy: www.gammingfreak.com/movies/wolfman1.mpg www.gammingfreak.com/movies/ninja_gun2.mpegThe LEGO software is very easy to use but has some annoying limitations: It does not allow you to view, remove (except for the last one shot) or insert individual frames. This is definitely something I'd like to be able to do. The sound is kinda weird. I was hoping I'd be able to play the movie and record at the same time (sort of a real time dub) but it does not allow for that. Chris

Crummy free Tripod. It worked earlier, I tested it and had a buddy test it as well. Doesn't work for me either. I'll see what I can figure out.
Ok fixed it in the post above. Buddy at work stuck em on a page he aint using.
Tripod apparently doesn't care for people signing up for an account with false information, sticking files on their servers without building a webpage, and then handing out links to those files. Go figure. ;D
Lemme know what ya think!

I really like the camera movements during the wolfman sequence. and the second clip also confirms one thing, Shadow Blade kicks ass

[glow=green,2,300]Those Xevoz shorts with the LEGO cam look awesome! I also pick up a lot of low priced reduced LEGO. I wished I had gotten that LEGO studios cam set a couple of years ago after Christmas.[/glow]

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't done ANYTHING creative in a very long time, so I was kinda nervous about posting these. These were just tests. I have an entire film planned, an actual story. It will use the werewolf sequence, re-shot. I went out and bought another alpha last night. I think I am going to start scripting today at work if things are slow. Probably build a table top "sound stage" this weekend.
You can tell that I focused the camera for the first close up shots, but then just moved it around for the rest of the shots and didn't.

Hey all! First time poster. I just recently (like in the past 3 weeks) have gotten into Xevoz and Xipster. I just received my software yesterday, and I'm ready to start cranking out some animation. But I was hoping someone could clarify for me: the contest rules say I need to use Xipster software, but can I use other software also? The reason I ask is that the sounds provided on the Xipster CD aren't what I need. And also the Galaxy Hunter film seems like he/she used other programs for the rain, and lightning and such. There hasn't been much talk on this topic since April, so maybe nobody else is doing Xevoz animation? Many, many, questions... Stexevoz
