Although this wasnt done with Xipster, i did this quick little 25sec movie using Stop Motion Pro v4, AlamDV for special effects, and Adobe Premiere to add in the sound effects. This was done about 1 1/2 years ago when i was bored one day with lego minifigs www.darkram4.com/screenshots/minfig_movie.WMVDoes Xipster have a demo? I didnt see a link for one, and any expected release date for an OS X version?

I guess Xipster used to have a demo, but now they only offer the version for $29.95. The price is supposed to double in August, so if you're going to jump in, do it now. I got mine, it shipped pretty fast. Fun animation by the way. Metallica is always great for Lego music.

Man, I'm a little disappointed to learn Xipster is that pricey, but I guess based on its functionality, I can't imagine it being less, realistically. Anyway, I remember seeing a movie a fan of the Dance Dance Revolution video game series had done using Lego minifigures on a Lego DDR machine; I'm sort of thinking about doing something like that with Sky Grinder, using the actual stepchart for a song to create a semirealistic animation (a song 150 BPM would be... let's see, 30 FPS, so 60 SPM, ...uh, 2.5 BPS... I think.)

[glow=navy,2,300] Meh, I would maybe be interested if they had provided a downloadable demo. It's hard for me to pay that much for software with no idea if I like the interface or features when I could spend it on more Xevoz. It would have to be something I really dig to invest that kind of coin in.

Same for me..I asked about a demo when the xipster guy was here a while ago and he said there werent any. Be it 30 or 60 dollars, I can't afford to spend that money on a program I'm not even will do what I want.
