I wouldn't post a thread until you have at least a progress pic to show. Just some advise.

You don't want to be compared to daxter. It just isn't worth the agony of bringing him up again. Again, what fatshadowmaster said, please include your photos/drawings when posting in these threads. That's what this area is all about - kitbashes, customs, art, seeking advise for customizing, etc., etc. But I am looking forward to seeing what you've done with an airbrush.

*heads desk* If ya don't have an image to post then please don't start new posts. It's fun to guess what a customizer put into their figure(s) once we see the final or WIP shots (ex. rupert's recent Hellboy custom), but playing guessing games without knowing what was the figure is made from without seeing it? Believe me, I am trying to be nice and sympathetic to your enthusiasm for a new hobby. Really I am. But please, just stop posting so much about nothing, okay? If you don't have a digital camera, take a 35mm shot, go to you local photo developer and they can put your photos on a CD-ROM and you can post those digital photos. Or even use a camera phone if you're that desperate to post your finished product (even I've done that a few times). Until then, how's about just posting comments on current conversation threads. Or, if the need arises, asking for advice on painting techniques, paints to use/not use, feedback on polls, and so on.

I totally approve of what Greyloch said. I like that new people are taking an interest in this forum, but the posts made have to be about something. A lot of posts these past fews days had not content at all. Also, replying to threads that are really old only to add something like "nice" or "I would have done it this way instead of that way" is useless. Stick to recent threads. You can refer to an older thread if you have a specific question though. If you don't know how old is the thread, just look at the top of each post. The date is written there, along with the time. With the date, you can judge if it's a really old thread or a relatively new one.
This is not meant to offend anyone here. Along with Greyloch and the other "older" members here, I just want to help out.
