Wow, I hadn't looked at TNI today. That's a nice little S6 gallery they have going over there. I'm seriously thinking that I might be getting all of these guys as soon as I find them.
BTW, #1 Fan, how does Storm Shadow look without his . . . erm, "cloth accessories"? TNI showed everyone but Stormy without their cloth pants, and I think I actually prefer the sculpted look of the figures over the "clothed" look.

Yes. No. Maybe.
I collected Joes in my younger days, but never went back to the line. I often considered getting one of the newer Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow figs, but could never bring myself to do it. Sigma Six finally pushed me into doing it.
I became aware of S6 because of the Xevoz connection, so in that regard, yeah, I am collecting them due to Xevoz. I might never have given them much of a look otherwise (then I again I might have - who knows?).
I like the design, which is very Xevoz like. Of course, I liked the Xevoz design, so I should like the S6 designs as well. So while there is some correlation here, I don't assign any causality to it. If I didn't like the toys, I wouldn't have gotten them, regardless of the X-connection. So in this regard, no.
Finally I do confess that I am disappointed Xevoz failed (or seems to have at this point), and to some degree feel bad for those who did such kick ass work in the toy line. Like most people (I suspect), when someone I like fails in one endeavor, I tend to root a little harder for them in the next. So it may be that my pro-Xevoz inclinations make me want to see this succeed a little more than I otherwise would. However I can't say that factor was enough to make me shell out $75 on S6 toys yesterday either. So for this... maybe.

I am probably going to pick up Duke, he looks pretty sweet, and is your average ''army man'', and I need some of those.

how much are these ive never been intrested in gi joe figs but this is so cool the bow and arrow weapon is cool are they out yet if so were could i buy There are supposed to be two price points - $10 and $15. The first wave of 5 figures and one vehicle are all at the $15 price point, and only seem to be available at TRU, KB (at $20) and some online stores. The second wave of toys, due in January, will mostly be at the $10 price point. Also the cartoon is already on the air, being broadcast on Fox on Saturdays (11:00 EST).

Will the 2nd wave not be as quality or something? Maybe include less accessories? Is that why they will be around $10?

Just as Xevoz had 7 and 12 dollar price points, S6 will have 10 (soldier) and 15 (commando). Presumably they will be the same size and design (articulation included), but lacking in accessories. The way these are being released is unusual - usually at the start of a line they release the cheaper figures or a mix. I am guessing they wanted to start with the commandos because they are showpieces for the main characters (well, except for Spirit). There will also be less expensive versions of lead characters down the road - a "SCUBA" Duke is in the works, and I imagine we'll see some variations on Snake Eyes as well.

Hmm thats interesting. Personally I really like that they are higher price points. They are kinda like the ultimate action figures. Each one with so much detail paid to it. I really appreciate all the different details and accessories. That would be sweet if they put out generic accessor sets for your soldiers.

I voted no. I really like the way these things look. I saw them at a TRU yesterday during my lunch break, but man, my only complaint is that they're really big! They make Xevoz look like Micronians.
If these were smaller, maybe an inch larger than regular Xevoz, I'd probably be more interested. If they release these in a smaller size, then I'll be on board.

I had no idea Sigma Six was done by the same team that worked on Xevoz. Makes sense though, seeing as I like the new figures and I obviously liked Xevoz back in the day. Just makes me appreicate the figures more, I guess.
