Odds are they will be. Baroness won't be released until they prove a female figure can sell in S6 (ie Scarlett), and none of the other major 80s villains (Mindbender, Firefly, Serpentor, etc) have put in an appearance on the show.
I know people have to pregnant dog about the redecos (though I'm at the point where I'm ready to pregnant dog slap the next one who does) but the Duke and HD figs look like sweet additions. Curious to see what they do with Storm Shadow. Don't know if I want them to make it a cool figure, or a crap one so I can save my cash.

Ah female figures, something that no company likes to do, because it won't sell to their target audience, little boys. And how do you market sigma6 to the barbie bratz set? impossible surely. With no option of clothing and accessories. You have the large scale old style joe's like in the EE catalog, some asian dragon lady spy, and the french spy. or Cy-Girl figs. But those are truly collector things. I would love to see scarlett and baroness... the problem with the female figures (good thing for 3 packs, am I right?) is they look hideous. long hair makes them them impossible to articulate the neck so you end up with butch Scarlett, Lady J and Cover Girl 4" figs. Then on the opposite end you have the statue figures, you know what i'm talking about, the Love Hina, Genshiken, G-Taste, french maid stuff. You know if you're going to sleeper out Duke, do a Duke Scarlett 2 pack, like the Ninja thing, or Destro and Baroness, cuz you knows we want the Destro. Scarlett in the show has super long hair, solution, layered rubber. Like large plates of a firm yet supple material that will hold up to the rigors of action posing. Same solution for the Baroness. Make them HOT, and use less plastic, give'm pegs awayfrom the naughty bits and leave them on the arms for crossbows, the legs and back. Mystique sells in the ML series, so give us what we want. Even If I have to buy a case of 4 ninja bats, just for one freaking scarlett.
I guess people freak if they see their son playing with a female figure. "OMG IS HE GAY?" well thats why you make them HOT, so it blows their image of what a woman should look like. It;s no different from Barbie ro Bratz or Cosmo. You know why they are making a sequel to Underworld? it's because Kate Beckinsale + Guns = Crazy Delicious!

God I so wish for Scarlett and Baroness. Not only cuz I had a kiddie cartoon crush on Baroness(Ithink it's the glasses and tight leather), but I think there cool characters. I remember wanting Teela and Evil-Lyn way back in the day because they where part of the story and show, and I did get them and I know my parents never got the "ZOMG GIRLZZ TOYZZ" cuz they knew I liked the show and the characters. Hell, ever kid I knew who liked He-man growing wanted Teela and Evil-Lyn. I would gladly take Scarlett and Baroness as the same mold, just repainted if thats what we have to do to get the characters.

I'm diggin the skybat. I like the accessories with Stormshadow, but the fig himself is just ok to me.

Personally, I'm most likely going to pass on the Sky B.A.T., which will be the first S6 figure I've done that with thus far. Unlike the Ninja B.A.T., I'm just not all that hot for the bot's design . . . it's just not as wicked-looking as I feel a B.A.T. should be.
Storm Shredder--er, SHADOW--is a definite pusrchase for me. Like I did with my Sea Ops Duke, he'll get a few minor tweaks and a new paint app in order to turn him into a different character.

Did Cobra ever have any other named ninjas instead of just various Viper/henchmen? Maybe Stormshredder could be one of those.

Black Dragon, Shadow Strike, Slash, Slice, Dice and Sei-Tin (Satan) are all Cobra ninja. I think that the Storm Shadow redeco might make a good base for a Black Dragon or Sei-Tin custom.
