Just got the new Snake Eyes with Timber commando in from BBTS. Much to my chagrin, he has two right shoulders!
Unfortunately, I dont have pics (at work), but I figured I'd report it somewhere. Waiting for my registration to go through over at sigma6central to see if anyone else has experienced this issue over there. This may be one of those factory errors thats present in the initial batch of figures.
Anyway, I'll describe the error as best as I can:
Timber has a "fur spike" thats on the back of each shoulder, near the elbow joint, which inhibits the lower paw movement backwards. This is fine, because thats pretty unnatural articulation anyway. But, because of the second right shoulder on the left leg, the "fur spike" is on the front of the elbow joint, which severly limits that elbow's joint movement forward. He's basically got a straight paw, and thats it.
Best pic I can find that demonstrates what I'm talking about:

You can see the "fur spike" in the package. Now, picture that same leg, only with the fur spike reversed so its at the front, and you'll get a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about, and how it could severely limit articulation. I also chose this pic to demonstrate that you can, in fact, spot this error in package. Its a little tough to see the left leg in the pic, but if its misassembled, it will be pretty obvious.
Anyway, this particularly sucks when you pick up ANOTHER Snake Eyes fig solely for Timber. I'm stuck with it (as I doubt anyone will want to trade), and I'm not sure if I'll purchase a second one. I'm only a very casual Joe collector.
On a side note, Timber seems to be a direct relative of MoonStalker. The coloring and overall "feel" of him is pretty close. Its a pretty kickass wolf, to boot. I like the neck fur - its a flexible hood of soft plastic, and I like how articulated Timber is in general, minus the factory error mine has (obviously). Coloring is very appropriate for an artic predator.
If anyone cares for more thoughts of these guys, just ask and I'll post.
