That was a great read. Ursa Khan kinda reminds me of Conan a bit.
Yuke's were great. I always did prefer magic to melee fighting.

Doing a few more customs. I added a crawfish to my aquattax race. I'm adding a space "invader" to the Ethereals. I just did an uber cute simple little crystal based Hyperfury.

I finally put some new stuff and updated some of the older stuff on the photobucket account even though it's not painted yet. Some more stuff will be going up soon. Feedback is appreciated.

Wow, I've been going through your photobucket account. So much creativity. The Irken Invader is just adorable. What pieces are the forearms from? Can they bend? The lobster...Also totally adorable. It would've been interesting if these came as, like, mini figures or something. Smaller, slightly different recolored pieces forming new creatures. The Yuke's head looks amazing. Funny thinking that it's made almost entirely of armor. Is that a Moon Stalker forearm for a neck? The squid looks great, I really like the biomechanical look. I can see how it fits together fairly well, but would it be possible to get some pictures of the under side? The Grey Sectoid is simple but effective. How did you make the skull? Skull Jack head to start with? WHY DON'T YOU LIKE ALIENS TO HAVE OPPOSABLE ELBOWS ? Chicken bandit...HA! ;D Satyr and Valkyrie look great. Their heads look great. What was the Satyr's sword from? And the...ehh...'torso' bits of the valkyrie? Both front and backpack. Slasher Serpent...heh...few extra parasites? I like the look of the head. Is that from Moonstalker with longer teeth added? The design for the cave troll's hammer is great, is that a skull jack pelvis on the top? The head cracks me up . The Granite Gargoyle's head is also awesome. Seems to be a thing. I like the use of the Dune Stinger's claws on the back. You are great at molding pieces the way you want them. Always amazes me how different some stuff can look when you change it a bit. Has the painting process started on any of them since you took the pictures?

I like the use of the Dune Stinger's claws on the back. You are great at molding pieces the way you want them. Always amazes me how different some stuff can look when you change it a bit. Has the painting process started on any of them since you took the pictures? I'll try to answer these completely.... The Irken Invader's arm are a combination of shadowblade's nunchucks (upper arms), thunder shaman's staff/tiki mask (cuffs on the gloves), another smaller piece of shadowblade's nunchuck for the forearms, and shadowblade's hands. So there's 4 pieces connected and 3 places for the arm. It cannot bend but it can snap. The Yuke's neck and base that the other pieces sit on is actually the lightbulb gag piece from Bonecutter. It's the only time I've ever used that part in any of my customs. It's glad it was finally useful for something. The squid ( I need to make up a catchy name for it and the lobster) is a bio-mech like ocean dweller. It started off completely organic but started assimilating pieces of tech and scrap metal from downed aircraft and ships it found while patrolling the seas. Now it seeks out vessels and downs them to feed it's quest for more and better salvage to upgrade with. I'll try to get some better bottom shots on the squid. The rocket booster sled and claw arms is actually a backpack that comes off the squid and leaves it just having the armored squid appearance. The sectoid's head was made from a skull jack head. I shaved down the face and built up the skull. It think the sculpey brow set it off. I'm not against articulated arms on the aliens but these just looked good without them. The next one probably will have arm articulation. Satyr's sword is a combo of the hilt of a Inferno Fury weapon and the blade is from an old Batman Animated Ras Al Ghul sword. I sometimes barrow sword blades from other sources because I kind of dislike some of the xevoz ones. Many are easily warped and others aren't very neat looking. I loved that one so it got cannibalized. Ras' mask is used in another custom I will post later. The chest armor pieces come from the top of the helicopter blades from the Transcorcher kit. The wing bases are a combo of that little feathery armor piece that the dart is supposed to attach too on Storm Wing and the ball joint end part of Shock Beserker's staff. They make for a great backpack like tandem for winged characters. To bad the storm wing parts are so rare or I'd have more for other customs. Slasher Serpent's head is the one piece moonstalker head ground and sanded down. the fangs are from the tips of Hemogoblin wrist gaurds. The lower jaw is from the razorclaw jaw and the tongue is just a thin slice from that same Hemogoblin wrist guard. The trolls war hammer/pick axe does have a Skull Jack pelvis on top. I only have a few customs that have some kind of painting done to them. Mainly because it is so time consuming, tedious and the paint is expensive. I don't really like that part of the process because I can only do it late night when I am tired. I'll eventually paint all of these.

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed that no discussion has come from this. I know these are unpainted but I though at least the designs might be interesting to a few people who still like Xevoz customizing.

Awesome work dude. Makes me long for the days when we could anticipate new kits. I haven't thoroughly looked through them, but from what I've seen there are some good designs. I like the Aquattix designs, and the Cave Troll & Granite Gargoyle especially. Is that a Frankenpunker head with Sculptey on it for the head of the Cave Troll?
This makes me want to get mine out again and go at it.

The Cave Troll is a combo of two different frankenpunker head elements with a hemogoblin claw for the nose and some filed down Cryo-Katanna claws for the ears. I only used Sculpey to fill in the little gaps in the elements to have a seamless face.

It always amazes me how you and some of the other members have so many parts that you can just be like, i'm going to paint a few or cut some up.... I actually love the primer versions! It gives them an instant sense of unity. And unpainted makes it look like its ready to make molds from.
Lobster: This is really ingenious. The legs... I would never think to make something more animal like, as like Razor Claw being easily made into a panther. I always go for something humanoid.
Squid: haha so that's what is possible with a bunch of skull jacks. This is so H.R. Gigeresque. The Sledge Trooper eyes... man!
Ancient Yuke: I've played some Crystal Chronicles. The Yukes are easily the most fascinating character designs to come out of SquareEnix for a while. That head is just so cool, and again the last thing I would think of when looking at those pieces.
Korgz Militia: This is truly badass. And the Infil-Traitor cycloptic eye... it's the light transitive pieces on Xevoz are great, and that's why I underlight all my clear ones. the arms are easily my favorite bashed part, but the roller wheels comes in a very close 2nd. Dumbbells I love it.
Mini Mauler: this is perfect. What do these things look like unpainted? I wanna give this a try. it's cute and killer at the same time.
Gray Sectoid: this is nutty. Ugh, Bone Cutter... but you made something with that body piece that's funny and looks pretty good there.
Irken Invader: I love in Invader Zim. I would like to see this one painted actually.
Quarry Warrior: That is epic... OMG, and the Bone Cutter torsos again. Is he stable? he's more like ginormous! Reminds me of Logans Run for some reason.
Pollo Bandito: thats the best use of the chickenhead and sombrero I've ever seen.
Satyr: This is a great mix of pieces. Again, this looks so good unpainted.
Valkyrie: Finally a female Xevoz. Perfect.
Atlantian Security Police: This paint scheme kicks the sh!+ out of the actual Xevoz cop that we saw posted. That fat arm shield piece is very cool.
Combat Chameleon: This should have been real... OMG, I love the character design... it's inspiring. I want to draw the @!#$! out of it. My favorite of the bunch.
Slasher Serpent: another kick ass design. Looks like it should also have been made as an actual Xevoz.
Blood Sucker: more cut up Xeovz pieces... that scares me enough alone. Have you seen anyone cutting wing parts from bone cutter to make thin bug legs? Seems a bit muscular for a mosquito.
Royal Rumble: I'm pretty sure this isnt one of your new customs... but a great Xevoz Bee. Love the mods on the Dune Stinger Head and the use of the Thunder Chest and Electro grill. Why'd you prime the wings?
Cave Troll: You are really good at making these bulky muscular hulking Xevoz. I know Thunder Shaman's chest makes that easier, but you really chose great pieces to make it really believable. The head is perfect for a troll, but I never really loved pointy noses, but the body is sweet.
Xyberian Watchcog: Love the name. It's like Stargate and Hellraiser had a baby.
Granite Gargoyle: nailed it. The legs/feet bash and choice of arms just really make this work so well... or maybe its your excellent posing. You are like some PHD Xevoz paleontologist... finding the remains of until now undiscovered Xevoz and fantastically posing them in their (un)natural state for us to enjoy.
Great job. I'm going to draw Combat Chameleon tomorrow instead of doing work. That's how much I love it.

Haha! Awesome! That's my new wallpaper! I like that body color scheme a lot! I may end up using that.
I actually struggled in calling this one Camo-Chameleon and giving him a camouflage jacket and or even body but then I decided it sounded to much like Culture Club's Karma Chameleon and hand painting the plubber parts always proves to be difficult. Still I liked the irony of having a creature whose skin color changes to blend into his surrounding wearing a camo-top and short pants. I ended up thinking I liked the black leather jacket look better which coincidentally is what you went for as well.
