Aliens, the name of the race is an homage to the classic computer game X-Comm in which the Ethereals are the leaders and strongest type of aliens you encounter in the game. I have a few mythological customs but I put them in with the Arcasters.

Do you have any Ethereals in any stage of production? Do you plan to have them keep the humanoid body type of most Xevoz?

I have a archetypal gray alien primed and ready to paint. I'm going to make him a probing accessory soon. The rest are just kind of in the planning stage after that.

Nice. Sorry for the third degree, I just started messing around with all my xevoz...and man, it's fun talking with people who've actually heard of them .

No problem, I've actually wanted to talk Xevoz shop for awhile now but no one seems that interested in them anymore.

I actually dragged mine out recently. I had packed them up when the kid was born. A firend came over and didn't see them, and asked about them. Then basically said, "Why don't you make sure your kids first toys are the best toys ever?' haha.

It's kind of funny. When I put Xevoz away and then get them out a few months later I actually find I get more ideas than when I have them out and easily accessible everyday. I had attempted a snakeman several times in the past and never really found a design I liked. This time it came almost easily because I mulled a few ideas over before I even got the toys out of the storage closet.

I remember somebody made something like a green 'viper' though I thought it really just looked like a slimmed down Razer Claw. Is your snake going to be limbless? Or either a pair of legs or a pair of arms?

It has a long legless very snakelike body. It does has arms. I could have gone without them but I think it looked rather boring. The arms were cybernetic enhanced appendages designed by mechshell and crafted by firedrake to give their once limbless friend extra killing power.

Wacommonkey; That was a great read. Out of curiosity, are you the author? The way Xevoz (EVO sounded great as well!) is described in there is exactly how I and many more, I'm sure, feel about the line. Too bad the big boys at Hasbro didn't see it that way. I'm sure they had good reasons though. The images from the link at the end of the article are absolutely worth looking at. Especially the line up with all the figures. Finally we get a look at Ursa Khan It's been said before, but I'll say it again, Wave 5 would've been kick ass! Thank you for sharing this with us.

That lineup is as beautiful as anything you'll see hanging in a museum.
The thing with Xevox is you will be endlessly making things in your head years later and then get inspired to pull them out again. The kids and I are big video game nuts too. One of our all time favorite games is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on the Nintendo Gamecube. We were playing multi-player mode today and I totally got a vision in my head for a custom Yuke. This was a game I would have killed to get figures from and never will see any even from Japan and here with this awesome toy line not only can I make my own but do it is amazing detail and articulation and then even fit him in to my own Xevoz storyline as an Arcaster. This is why even 50 years from now, (if I am still drawing breath) I will still love these toys.
I shed a tear for that xyber trooper drone. I could have done so much with that.

My Yuke custom is has been fabricated and dyed black. I'll prime it gray sometime soon and then who knows how long it will be before I paint it. I never seem to get around to doing that as the 30 something customs in my closet can attest to. Here's what a Yuke is to those who don't know. finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Yuke
