Has anyone else seen these and got into them? They are dinosaurs by Mattel with a very Xevoz like design style to them. They aren't near are pose-able or customizable but you can swap the heads and tails on them to create some cool variations. They have an extractor gun that allows you to suck the DNA out of them and combine the dinos online to play all sorts of games online which was a big upgrade over the lame dice and Xevoz games we got. I have always loved dinos so I'll be getting these for the boys and playing too. I look at these and Xevoz and so wish that I could blend the two into a hybrid toy line. Xevoz variety of pieces, different creatures, and pose-ability are their strength. Xtractuars advanced gaming and morph-ability online looks much better. It may not be Xevoz but it's one of the best things I've seen since that is actually affordable and sitting on brick and mortar toy shelves.

They do look very similar in style to Xevoz. It's really too bad these dino toys aren't ball jointed everywhere. That would be even better for customization.
The video was uploaded in Sept '09, but I have yet to see them in stores. I wonder how much they're going to sell for.

I bought the first wave for my boys the other day at K-mart. The starter set that has the extractor gun costs $19.99. The additional dinos run around $10 each. The second wave is starting to show up at online stores now so I think they'll be in stores soon.

This is very cool. The online component is vaguely similar to the Busou Shinki online arena. If xevoz had come out now, maybe they would have done something similar to this online feature using parts extracted from base figures, or just have a bunch of barcodes that can be scanned for each part and accessory.
