Playing with TF Animated figs and seeing a lot of lessons learned from Xevoz applied to the (undisputed best TF line yet) series.
Also noticed a lot of the design lessons applied to GIJoe Sigmasix.
Anyone else see a lot of Xevoz in newer H* lines?
(not the least of which... the plastic mix they use)

One could only hope that they learned something from their mistakes. Yet pity a Xevoz revival is not likely at all. I take solace that for the time being I can save my $$$, since nothing enticing beckons among their current offerings.

I don't buy anything and haven't since at least not with any dedication. If it ain't Xevoz, I don't want it.

Nice looking toys, but you are quite right: ultimately too pricey to collect. I'll stick to drawing and doodling my own ideas for the time being.

I stopped in a TRU just the other day and noticed these G.I. Joe action battlers that have the art style from the Xevoz line, but hardly the articulation. www.hasbro.com/shop/browse//_/Ntt-g.i.%20joe%20action%20battlers?Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartialI would have picked these up if they at least had more articulation in the elbows, knees, everywhere else and if they would pass on the gimmicky-squeeze-the-legs-to-make-the-arms-move action. I guess Ball-N-Socket is something Hasbro can't utilize anymore.

Almost every modern transformer has them somewhere on them. they even created a hybrid (2 piece) version of the xevoz socket that i would say if more forgiving. No... my only problem is that event though transformers are 150% more flexible than they used to be, they are still cluncky.

"Cluncky" is a good way of putting it. You are correct about their use of ball n socket, but it's that very word you used that makes me not really consider them that much. Ball n sockets were used a lot on the Animated line, especially on the Activators.
