Evoloids has some potential. I suspect those are just concept sketches, it's possible that evoloids will indeed have the variety and character of xevoz, it's just too early to say

Is there any way to determine if there's a production date on the card art? You know, it would say something like "Hasbro" with either a copyright or rights logo, followed by a year, or prefixed.

I wouldn't read too much into any text on it. It mentions "Evostones of Power". Web search comes up as a Pokemon ability. Facts we can bank on are the photo is genuine. Everything else on it could be filler.

Oh, I don't doubt the validity of the photos. I'm just curious when this idea was planned for implementation and pre-production.

I'm not sure if the pieces we've seen would contain that info, but every toy has a number (usually 5 digits) stamped on the packaging. Not printed. If I remember correctly, when you break down those numbers you get the year and day the toy has been produced. It would be interesting info to have. I'm sure someone here knows about this and would be able to decipher those numbers...as long as they are there. Chances are the figures didn't make it far enough into production to get said numbers.

(basics)turtle, warlock, (deluxe)hacker, magma, (2-pack)snow cat & barbarian were going to be wave 5. So they would've been released the following bi-annual period to wave 4. It's been too long, I can't even remember if that means fall or spring, but I think spring?

Does this mean Hasbro only has plans to release toys in the spring and fall? If it's the case, I've never noticed it. Sorry if this a dumb question by the way, I'm just curious. Again. ;D

Thanks for answering my question.
Could you give any insight to what the following figures were going to be, what potential wave and if they ever got as far as sculpting?
ursa major dark sentinel(sentry?) helio archer goregolye street pursuit machette mech scarabushi attacknid (asumming this would have eventually been a whole kit) terracrawler (asumming this would have eventually been a whole kit)
Was there anything other than those planned?
I think you mentioned a neo-sapien woman with a rabbit theme once.

Grayfox: very generally speaking main releases are done in Spring & Fall, larger lines that support more SKU's get many more segments called "refreshes" in between. SS: If Aaron & the crew are thinking of doing anything, I should restrict some of my info, but suffice to say that the characters you've named were supposed to be wave 6 (except for the barbarian "Ursa Major" AKA Ursa Khan which was wave 5) None of those had tools made, but a few painted models exist at Hasbro for each. The female was in the loose category of "gun bunny" which is anime/manga speak for pixie-ish female that is outfitted with lots of tech.

Nixon, Wacommonkey, thanks for the insight.
I come back to this board every few months to see if anything new has trickled out. I loved Xevoz... seems like those were good years for the toy business generally. Nothing has really grabbed my attention for the better part of two whole years now, which is the longest I've gone without collecting in a decade or more.
Man... I wish I could get some more Xevoz.

DAMN, the designs were literally getting better and better, and hasbro cancelled em...come on, there was huge potential in these...like bionicles, massive back story, but more relate-able, we could be seeing a xevoz movie(paraphrase of someones earlier comment on somewhere else). DAMN

Potential: yes Sales: not nearly enough Culprit: Hasbro Why: not nearly enough support for the line on their part
So I wouldn't expect a Xevoz movie anytime soon, or ever. Actually, I'm thinking a Xvoz movie would most likely suck. Just gimme new toys and the promoting to get parents to buy them for their kids.
