First and foremost, Xevoz is dead at Hasbro. They are mulching everything... the website, the mockups... by this point... aside from what is left in ppl's cubes... its all gone. The images are from a private collection, and if I get even a hint of C&D [cease & desist] they are coming down. (not to mention that I don't want to cause static where there is none). These are not digital... they are photos of acquired packaging art. The release of more images will be based on the reaction I get from these teasers. [reactions like 'can't post these', etc...] -- are the greedy fat bastard higher ups even considering selling the IP? I simply do not understand the motivation for sitting on it (aside from the complete greed of not wanting to see their failure become someone else's success. If they failed at it, what makes them think someone else won't?)

I think they're sitting on the Xevoz IP for a few reasons:
- They may be hesitant to sell it because they don't want it to be someone else's success, like other have said. - They may re-launch it if the market begs for something like it. - They may be trying to sell it to the highest bidder, who hasn't come up yet.

have you gotten a cease and desist yet? can we get the full photos please?
oh and grab some more images of the boxes if you can, before they are destroyed or whatever stupid stuff hasbro does. Perhaps they think the bodies of the xevoz will come back from the grave? who knows
also, i hear that some toys at some stores, once discontinued, are shipped back to hasbro. Anyone know is hasbro redistributes them to big lots and such, or do they sell them through back channels? perhaps hasbro is sitting on a load of xevoz they are going to destroy soon

I would love to see pictures even though we will never see the figures. I love the picture of the turtle. It apparently got some new people interested in Xevoz. What can it hurt? Except, if Hasbro pulls out a C&D.

I swear, if hasbro pulls a C&D, I'll get the pitchfork(s). Why in god's name should they? it's a dead IP, they want nothing further to do with it, what's the harm in some pictures floating around?

C&D = Cease and Desist As in Hasbro not wanting Nixon to show the images. And if he disobeyed, lawyers would probably get involved, etc. I made sure to save the images at least. Just in case we don't get anymore treats. I second that.

If they do send out C&D letter, it would be quite perplexing, as they don't have any plans (that we know) to use the line in any sort of context. What's the harm in it? I'd understand if they say "Hey, could you take those down? We're thinking of using those ideas somewhere else soon", but if it's just "Take those down! You don't get to see these!", i'll be a bit pissed.
Justify the C&D, Hasbro. That is, if you ever try and send one.

Hasbo? justify their actions? you give them too much credit sir.
everything they do can be blamed on "legal reasons"

If these items truely are in the hands of a private collection then their C&D orders mean absolutely nothing. It's no longer pictures of their private property it's pictures of someone else's property.

"Well, xhit. Good news & Bad news. Here's an email I got from people at Stikfas (The people who licensed the Xevoz articulation to Hasbro):
Hi there NAME, sorry for the late reply, I am afraid that in the foreseeable future Hasbro will not be revisiting Xevoz. we are looking into making something similar though and am contemplating on the scale. Cheers Banyj"

oh of course not, there's very little chance of the exact xevoz brand coming back. However i think stikfas will keep the general feel of xevoz while still doing it a little differently. They also have the advantage of using the built-in stikfas fanbase as a springboard for sales.

Meh, I'd have to see them and even then they'd likely be way expensive and not have the same feel the actual xevoz line did. I'm not excited about stikfas other products so I'm not getting excited about this until I see actual plastic. Plus this has been said for the last 3 years or so by stikfas promoters and still there are no xevoz like toys.

New Stikfas scale on some geometric based figs. Same hight but will be incompatible with Xevoz. Might be OK for Stikfans. I'll buy some but not in the same numbers. Look to eMummy for any future Xevoz hope. I'm kinda surprised you got an email response from the man. They have been tight lipped on any email with the word Xevoz in it. Your luckier than us.
