I'm a little disappointed by those "lite" Stikfas. The ninja look good with a decal on the face, but I'm the type of collector who keeps his Stikfas "vanilla" (sans stickers), so those are gonna look a little odd on my shelf. I'm still gonna get them, but I'm not expecting to be wowed by them. At least they should be a little cheaper than a regular Stikfas.

I love the new site design, but I can certainly appreciate the disappointment with the new "Lite" packs. I'm not a huge fan of the G2 body style anyway. I do think some of the accessories are going to be nice, especially the bat that comes with the baseball player. I can make a thug custom with a ski mask and a baseball bat to go around and practice extortion on all the other Stikfas. ;-)
I'm looking forward to bigger and better things from Stikfas towards the end of the year.

I'm betting that feelings on the new 'lite' stiks are divided pretty evenly between customizers and non-customizers. I can completley understand customizers loving these kits- lower cost per figure, a few choice accesories.
As a non-customizing stikfas fan, I'm a little dissapointed. One of the things I love about Stikfas is that they threw so many neat accesories in a kit. BanyJ and co. would put in everything I could think the character could have and then a few things that I would never think of. With the last few kits they were getting to the point where it was hard to decide which parts were best and you could make two almost completley different figures with the same kit, and it looked like they were going to keep going in that direction (maybe they still are with the regular kits). I can think of so many other great parts that could come with the ninja, and while I don't really care either way about the baseball stiks, the stikfas I know would have included different types of mits, cleats for the shoes, different colors for different teams (in one kit) and something crazy, like bases or a hot dog. Or they would have thrown two or three different sports in one box.
This all probably sounds pretty silly, and I'm still definitley excited about the ninja. Maybe it's because I've grown accustomed to expect a lot more from Stikfas. Maybe it's because we already got burned a little with the reuse in the hero/villain packs, and I'm hoping it doesn't become a trend. Maybe it's because I had an idea in my head for what the ninja should be like. It just kind of feels like I'm being gyped a little - instead of getting a really great ninja, I'm getting a okay one. I guess that's okay for this one, I just hope when it comes to sets I'm really hoping for (cowboy and pirate) they go all out and include tons of accesories.
As a side/final note, I can see potential for these kits, they are a good price point and there are some kit ideas that I think would work well (I'm thinking a gangster, viking, and wizard), kits that don't warant too many accesories. This is a good way to get character types out that may only need a few parts. I just hope they don't make lite kits of character types that could be really good full kits.
(I get out of school for the summer and all my posts suddenly become epics)

I got the Super Hero & Villian sets, the villian set is good b/c you can make 2 good villians, but with the Superhero set, I was only able to make 1 good Hero and 1 blah figure. They are good sets, but with the possibility of other figure sets out there, Stikfas could have done better. Like maybe a Viking or Cowboy...
