I put together a Chinese Monk reissue and a Supervillain reissue recently, and both of them got some stress marks on one of their lower-leg ball joints as I snapped them in. I never had any stress marks on my black Stikfas. Does whatever they use to dye the plastic affect the plastic's strength?

Yeah, I think it might. My more recent colored figs seem a little bit less strong than the original black figs. The plastic feels a little bit, well, softer. I think that if you can afford it, buy two of each of the new recolors in case a part breaks, I'm planning on doing that with the new Alpha Male Diver with Octopus set once it becomes available.

Maybe they are cutting costs and the plastic quality took a bit of a hit?
