Wandering into KB at a mall, spotted the CryoKatana two pack, and had to wander a little to see them on the pegs. Its was all wave 3 packaging, only 3 pegs in the aisle-end-but-sideways area. The prices were higher than TRU, 17.99, 12.99, and 7.99. Looks like a new spot to watch for an extra Crypt Curse.
For some of you, this might be more interesting in that I spotted a KB Toys. (:

Here's some hard info on the KB Toys situation - despite their inflated prices, it's sad to see yet another toy retailer struggling to stay afloat. www.kbtinfo.com/kbtinfo003.htm

Well we still have our local store despite them having stocked anything new for a very long time and never having stocked a xevoz figure at all. If they closed it would suck for the employees, I suppose. It wouldn't hurt me at all.

well, i guess half-good news is better than no good news. i'm glad to see another store is picking them up, as those around me seem to be either dropping them or in a stand still. my target stopped carrying them when the products were all switched around. meijer and 'russ have 'em, a good amount of them, but it's rarely updated, all wave 1 and 2... and [super] walmart has some wave 3, but right now that just means shield breaker, and he was lower on my list of 'must-haves'. maybe i'll just sacrifice the extra dollar and buy them at kb. i'm actually making money now [started working at meijer last saturday] so an extra dollar here and there shouldn't break me... as long as the extra dollar is getting me some xevoz ;D

Hi everyone. New Xevoz convert here in NYC. I just wanted to let anyone in NY area know that the KB located on 34th St in the midtown area has waves one and two on sale 2 for $5, two packs are $7.99 and Iron Spectre is $12.99. I've had no luck finding wave 3 or 4 anywhere near me but if anyone else has I'd appreciate the heads up. Thanks.

As you guys probably know, a lot of KB stores are closing. Some aren't though, but they all seem to have some super-clearances going on. Today, I took a ride to my local mall's KB, which is one of the few that is not actually closing, but still, the huge clearance is going on. Now, I've scoured this place a couple of times, but they have been long sold out of Xevoz, so when I walked in, I did so to see what OTHER stuff was there that I could pick up. And to my surprise, Xevoz miraculously showed up. I mean, nothing too spectacular, but I did notice a pair of Skulljacks that I think I might go back to pick up in the next day or so.
There were also some assorted wave 1 and 2 stuff, some two-packs (no CK vs PC though...) and some Transcorcher sets.
I just found it interesting that these things showed up after weeks of them not having any. I assume that didn't order anymore, and the only logical thing I can think of is that they took on some stock from some of the others stores that actually did close.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

A similar experience: my south KB seems to be trickle-stocking. Today there were another 5 boosters, when last week there were none (because of me). Perhaps KBs that are closing out are re-distributing stock to those that are staying in business. Not finding anything scarce there, but I'll pick up just about anything at 2 for $5. Need to find out what day they stock....they are getting to know me.
cashier: "That is all you are getting this weekend?" me: "That is all you had."

I'm noticing the same sort of thing here in my area. A store that I had been to had almost next to nothing a few weeks ago, then when I returned, fully stocked,... well, not fully, but more than I remember seeing the last time I made gave them my patronage. Still at the great KB prices a lot of us have been seeing recently as well.
For now, I'm not going to ask any questions. At $5 for 2 figs, I'm not going to make any noise till they're either gone or back to regular price.

I don't know anything about KB stores, and considering they are almost all, if not all in malls, I am guessing they don't have much room to store figures in the back? Otherwise, I would just say they are restocking figures they have left back there. That, or maybe they had those figures, but they were hidden? Some others have reported finding Xevoz figures in the wrong area and behind other figures. at KB stores.[/b]

I was at a KB this past weekend, and they were fully stocked with wave 1 and 2. I asked if they kept anymore in the back they said no. I dunno but I think this stuff is either coming from a distribution center or other KB's.
By the way, most KB's in the Chicago suburbs are closed already, but I went to the one in Rockford and it was still open. However the KB website did not list any stores open in the entire state. So I don't whats going on with them.

I just went back to the KB that I mentioned in my previous post in this thread, and they had even MORE stuff. When I initially posted, they only had a couple of two packs, a couple of Iron Specter cases, and a couple of Transcorcher sets, along with various assorted figures.
When I went back today, they had TONS of two packs and cases, and Transcorcher sets. They also had some new figs. I also went into TRU today and noticed that some more stuff mysteriously appeared on the shelves. Last time I went, all they had were Razorclaws. Now they have a lot of Alpha Rangers and Skull Jacks again.
I asked a worker at KB about stuff, and she said they get their shipments in on Monday. So I'm defintely going to check back then to see if anything new turns up. The only problem, however, was that everything they had was waves 1 and 2. But I figure if that stuff keeps showing up, eventually they have to run out and start sending wave 3.
