Hey everyone. If anyone is looking for Thunder Shamans, check out this place. www.dnstoys.com/index.htmI'm not sure if anyone has heard of them, but I ordered mine from them a little after Christmas. From what I have seen from their website today, they do still have them in stock, as well as CK vs. PC in low quantities, which must have just appeared because I haven't seen that one on there before. Hope I could be of some help to you guys! ~Ming

Thanks, I grabbed another Preda and Cryo 2 pack. It sure would have been nice if good old dave had put the Storm Wings and Tomb wraiths on the site for people to buy who need them or want some extras. Instead he's selling them on ebay. ~SS~

Yeah, I did notice that. Last I saw his Storm Wing was up to like $18 or something. I'm sure it's much higher now. It sucks, but then again, if you knew that you could get $20+ for a highly demanded item, wouldn't you put it on eBay too? Actually...I probably wouldn't. I'd be all like, "Spread the love".
Heh...

Actually I wouldn't because I know it could negatively affect my business and reveal me to be a greedy scalper to those who might have shopped with my site. The negative sales results by those turned off and decide to shop at other more principalled online stores aren't worth the few extra dollars I made wh0red out my reputation as a good collector friendly and dependable retailer for.
After seeing them doing this, I have bought my last Xevoz kit from them.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with you on that one. I don't know why I proposed that question in the first place anyway. Come to think of it, I probably wouldn't do that, but that's just me.

Meh, I emailed the guy and he claims the storm wings and tomb wraiths are just "leftover" figures that he's just trying to reach new people to sell. Leftovers my arse! He pulled them directly out of the wave 3 cases he just got in and made no attempt to put them on their site to sell them like he did the common figures they just posted in the last few days. The two one per case figures went straight to ebay. This guy is nothing but scalper and he lied straight up to me. I cancelled my two pack and will no longer do business with someone this dishonest and greedy. Entertainment Earth, goodstufftogo, and the imagination station don't pull this kind of shady crap. I'll only be doing business with them from now on unless DNS Toys changes it's cherry picking rare figures from the cases and scalping them on Ebay policies. Congrats D & S Toys you are now in the same slop pit of scuzzy pigboy practices as Toywiz.

Well, I guess I'm glad I could help you to determine a BAD place to order stuff from. What I don't understand though is that I ordered a Thunder Shaman from them. Isn't that a fairly rare kit at this point in time? Not trying to stick up for them or anything, I'm just trying to make some good of the situation. This was really the only place that I could find one, AND they only charged me $10.99 for it, which I thought was fair and reasonable.

PS: Does Imagination Station have a website? I could have sworn that I saw one at some point, but I don't remember the address nor can I find a link anywhere...

I've known of them for awhile. In fact I've ordered from them about 5 times in the last year. I just recently noticed that they just started this scalping of the one per case items though instead of offering them to their returning xevoz collectors. Back when wave 3 came out they offered them to their customers over the site. Now they know there is big money demand for them on ebay they've conviently forgotten about their loyal customers in an effort to cash in. In the end it's hurt them more than helped them because I will never buy anything from them again. That doesn't mean others I automatically think others shouldn't buy from them either if they are okay with what they do.
Thunder Shaman is rare at brick and mortar retail stores but not really online. Online stores ordered wave 4 but I doubt many real store retailers did. There are lots of auctions that end for him unsold at near the same rate you got him for. It makes more sense for DNS and stores like that to sell him on the site because they don't have to pay ebay and paypal charges for the same amount purchase. However, if the shaman ever does become more in demand and they feel they can weasle a few more bucks off Xevoz fans and/or their customers I fully expect DNS toys to pull what stock they have on the site and scalp him to the higest bidder on ebay as well.
Imagination Station doesn't really have a great site but they do have great customer service and love the Xevoz line. Their toll free number for phone orders is 1 (888) 305 - 2301 and ask for James or you can email them at toyshobbiesandmore@safelink.net. James will let you know when new stuff comes in and will help you fill your wishlists. He can even hold stuff for a short period of time for you. They take all the traditional forms of payment and even paypal. I've done at least 4 deals with them and they've been absolutely awesome. They have the best customer service I've ever seen. I also like Goodstufftogo.com and bigbadtoystore.com if you only like to shop online.

Selling the Storm Wings and Tomb Wraiths over eBay really sucks, but that is what (most) of the world has come to.
Goodstufftogo also put higher prices on their more rare figures, though never eBayed them at least. EE just has all their figure prices jacked up at 9 bucks, and you know if other, much smaller retailers can sell em for less then that they can too.
Not trying to justify it, just saying. Even if they did put them up on their site, most loyal customers wouldn't get them anyways, they would sell out in no time. Maybe even to one person who would in turn buy the whole stock and just re-sell on eBay. They have never put a purchase limit on their figures and I doubt they got more then half a dozen in. Lying to you definetly hurt them in my book even more though, Squishee. I am still wondering where the Stomr Wings are from the cases Amazon got in...
Anyhoo, their prices, D&SToys, are usually more reasonable then most other online retailers, but I probably won't purchase from them again. At least not when I have other options available. They usually have a lot of their figures on eBay and their website, but this is the first time they only had them on eBay which I know of.
Oh, and as for the Thunder Shamans, they arn't too rare. They were straight packed 6 to a case, no re-packs, just Thunder Shamans inb the cases. I think other smaller online retailers still have them, or they did have them for quit awhile after their initial release. As Squishee said though, you can find them on eBay all the time.[/b]

I am still wondering where the Stomr Wings are from the cases Amazon got in... [/b][/quote] No joke. You and me both. I doubt that they sold out of them that quickly. It seems that Amazon never posted Storm Wing for sale in the first place. As long as there are other options, I won't be buying anything from DNS in the future . . . which means that I'll most likely never buy from them again. Scalping is a despicable practice. Their bookmark has been deleted from my favorites list.
