I know some of you have seen these. I thought they were kinda cool but never picked any up. I just saw them at Wal-Mart on clearance already. The $10 ones were $7 and the big boy for $30 was $21. So if you're interested in these better pick'em up while you can. Here's a link to the Playmates R.E.V.S. section of their website. www.playmatestoys.com/html/revs/index.html

Those guys look a lot like Transformer figures.

I wouldn't buy these, but I will admit they look better than those other car/robot monstrosities from Hot Wheel. At least I think it's from HW. I can't remember their names. They look like cheap knock offs.

My son got one of these for his birthday awhile back. The figure itself was fairly loose and a little cheap looking. The car shell wasn't too bad though and the fact that you can combine them is pretty cool. I'd probably wait and see if the prices were slashed again before I'd even think about getting another one though. He just didn't play with it much.

I never really noticed these things till the bright orange clearance sticker appeared, but the robots themselves looked fairly articulated. Are they very fragile?

Hi Randy, it's good to see you back. I don't think they are fragile as they are clumsy. They just don't seem to do everything they are intended too all that well. Some of the seams of the car my son got don't really line up flawlessly like you'd want and the figure didn't look that great in robo mode with the accessories attached. In fact, he looked pretty ridiculous and immobile with the extra powered up kibble. It was a cool concept but somewhat poorly executed IMO, but at seriously reduced prices it could have possabilities as a sleeper line to just have a lot of fun with. I myself would like a look at the deluxes.

If the price drops cheap eniugh before they are all gone I'll pick up a couple. I like that big one and a couple of the small ones. I thonk there's only 10 or so total figures.
