Any opinions? Looks like the line that's eating Xevoz' lunch...

If they're in any way hurting Xevoz, then to hell with 'em. Otherwise, all of the Sigma Six figs I've seen shots of thus far will belong to me. I love 'em.

I'm seriously digging these figures. I like how the bigger size lends to more detailed weaponry. I just like their look. It's almost urban vinyl mixed with Marvel Legends. I don't know how Hasbro can justify the $15 price tag, but that's the only aspect I don't like about the figures.
I hope the new show is good, too. Any word on who's working on it?

Meh, I don't really like G.I. Joe...I don't normally go for figs above 6"...

The urban vinyl aspect of their appearance is what has me liking these figures right up front. I'm definitely looking forward to getting these guys.
As for the new cartoon, I have no idea who's working on it just yet.

They do have that 'urban vinyl' feel to them. I like it too. What I don't like however, is that none of the Joes look like what they should, soldiers. I mean, the characters are easily recognizable, but GIJoe is army. And they (minus Storm Shadow) look nothing like that to me. Snake Eyes might be the exception though.
They could have very well called that line GIJoe Extreme 2 IMO. Ah well, here's hoping the show is any good. Can't wait to see what Cobra Commander will look like.
P.S. The cloth pants are a nice touch....I think.

I don't know much about G.I. Joe, but it is my experience that NONE of them really look like army figures There is what, maybe 2 characters tops that even have the camoflouge outfit? Everyone else has their own crazy git ups.
From what I could see from the new figures, they looked pretty similair to what the characters use to wear? G.I. Joes have never really looked like an army or group of soldiers, in my eyes they were more like a band of rogues fighting the good fight
Actually, now that I am taking a second look I guess I maybe can see what you mean regarding their clothing. It looks the same, but has more of a "hip", updated look for the city? *shrug* Especially the pants. I think they still look pretty cool though, and I definetly would like to see some more Cobra characters.[/b]

Gonxo, apparently it's you who's working on the show. That or the Gonzo animation company that is giving us Transformers Cybertron Cell animated characters with CG for the vehicles.

Yeah, the Star Wars: Force Battlers line. I guess urban vinyl is an aquired taste--and can see why it's not for everyone--but I'm really into it. That having been said, I expect that I'll be picking up at least three of the first four. (I'm not so sure about final rendering of Grievous.) The one thing that worries me a little about the Force Battlers figures are the action features. I almost always hate stupid-@$$ action features.
BTW, I remember Spiral Zone! That was a cool line. I can see why Sigma Six would remind you of SZ.

Are these really going to be as inarticulated as they look?

It looks like there are at least 26 POA on the Sigma Six figures. (If it's the Star Wars: Force Battlers you were referring to, they don't look to be nearly as articulated.)
