After seeing the Hasbro Marvel Legends, I'm disapointed. Not only did they change the packaging, they raised the price. Also, I thought the figures looked like crap. I was gonna pick up a White Queen and maybe Planet Hulk, but after getting a good look at them I don't know. The White Queen's face was goofy looking and Planet Hulk has a shield but no weapon, just thought it a bit odd. I'd have to find him a mace or axe from an old McFarlane figure or something. Just my opinion on them. I do like the Super Hero Squad, got a Punisher'Ghost Rider pack and Wolverine/Sabertooth pack. I'd like'em even more if they had Magneto packed with Colossus, that'd be a must buy. I hope hasbro doesn't drop the ball on the legends. Also, does anyone know if the Figure Factory line will continue? I don't see Hasbro picking them up which saddens me.

I did pick up all the legends, but I'm a Marvel fan-sleeper so I would probably buy any ML. I like the Ultimate Iron Man and Hercules the best. The Spiderman Origins 6' figs look pretty good, especially DemoGoblin. If they can make Demo look that good for the more younger oriented SO, then I'm gonna just hope that they are going through growing pains with Legends and will eventually get it right.
Does any one know if they are gonna pick up Spiderman and Friends? My kid is just hitting that age group, and I already got him a few. If not, I'll see if he likes the super hero squad. I'm also curious about the X-Men line. I was just starting to get into it.

I came into collecting Marvel Legends late in the game and I have mixed opinions of what Hasbro has to offer. The Spider-Man Origin series looks pretty decent. Did Hasbro make some Spidey figs before the total license switch over? Maybe they had time to tweak things or imported the Spidey design team in whole? I dunno, but they look a helluva lot better than the Legends' Annihilus series being offered.
The new Legends ... yeah, they look goofy, like the proportions or sculpting was way off. Especially the White Queen. I loved the Marvel Select version (& am trying to track one down now) but the new one looks like a butter-face in comparison. lol

I am a big Marvel fan, and I agree that the Spider-Man figures look alright, but that's because most of them are re-molds. Demogoblin is a re-paint of the Hobgoblin from an earlier line. Don't get me wrong, I bought him too, but so far all of them are just re-paints.
Selects are cool, whish they were easier to find.

For the record, the first two waves of HML were sculpted by ToyBiz along with all the current Origins figures on the market. So these are the figures we would be getting anyway. Had Toybiz still had the license, the only difference would have been packaging, a comic and a few extra joints.
Also, Marvel Legends prices have gone up before and people didn't go up in arms. When wave 6 was released, the MSRP was $6.99, then it became $7.99. I'm used to paying $10 a figure. It doesn't bother me anymore.

I haven't found any Hasbro ML in my area yet, but judging from pictures, I can't say I like them much. The only one I'm interested in is Ultimate Iron Man. It looks like he has a good sculpt all over. One thing bothers me though..his helmet doens't look much like the one in the comic books. That sucks a little IMO.

I'm surprised that this recent wave was sculpted by ToyBiz, because they look horrible! The sculpts just seem off, and as silly as it sounds, the lack of finger articulation bothers me (I had really come to like the articulated fingers in recent ML waves).
The Origins line is so obviously repainted, older Spidey and ML figures, so no surprise that those are decent.
The only thing I've seen pics of so far that appeals to me is the Ultimate Ghost Rider with the bike, the one that is Icons scale. That looks amazing, but the rest of the Hasbro Marvel stuff has left me very underwhelmed.

I haven't seen the latest Marvel Legends wave in person, just lots of out of package pics online.
I have seen Spidey Origins and the Ghost Rider figures in person - with the exception of Iron Spidey from Origins and the 12" Rider.

i have only seen the WQ, and i didn;t like it. i guess it's a good thing because it signals all good things come to an end. examples, gundam MSIAs, XEVOZ.
hasbro aquiring the rights to make legends simply signals my stopping to buy figures.

The Spiderman Origins line looks great. I love their version of Spiderman 2099, especially since the web cape is removeable. I saw the Legends at Target and I wasn't impressed. So, no Legends for me for a while.

2099 is one I haven't seen yet. Iron SM either. But yet again, just simple repaints of other SM figures.

Iron Spidey is a new sculpt I believe.
2099 is a rerelease.
