Thanks "Bob"!
Skeleflex.... that sounds familiar. Maybe I'm thinking Skelanimals or something.
The photos look VERY promising. Safe to say we know where they got that idea from. As far a Wild Planet goes, they have some truly innovative stuff but the quality is sort of lacking. I think they even had a recall on some spy microphone that didn't have a max volume circuit and blew kids ears out. Let's hope. Their heart is certainly in the right place.

Those are good looking kits. Hopefully they are xevoz compatible. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. Any idea when these are coming out?

email to their support: I'm very interested in your upcoming product Skeleflex. To a toy hobbyist and toy purchasing head of household they look very promising. Any way to get a brochure on them? I'm wondering what type of plastic they are made of and especially what size are the ball joints. Are they 5 or 6 mm or 1/4 inch? They look somewhat compatible to another line of figures I collect that I stopped counting at 250.
Will they be available for order from a corporate site or are they retail only?
"Dear Machine Man,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our upcoming brand Skeleflex. I am unable to answer your spec questions at this time as the product is not yet in stores. Starting in August, Skeleflex will be available at Toys R Us, as well as through other mass, specialty and online retailers, including shopwildplanet.com. We will have more information available once the product is released in the fall. Stay tuned! -Kim"

Okay, those look way cool! And I almost bought one the Magna-Bloks' fossilized T-Rex toys on Sunday so I'm definitely on the skeleton toy wavelength. ;D
The legs on the alien (looks more like a skeletal Wyrn to me) have a very similar shape to the arm pieces for the skeleton figures (e.g., Skull Jack, Grim Skull, & Tomb Wraith) so I'm thinking there should be some compatibility between the two lines.
At least that's what I'm hoping for.
Man, I've gotta get back into customizing some figs. My bookshelves are looking lonely. Crowded by lonely nonetheless. *grins*

where the hell was Parenting when Xevoz was released....
Yeah it looks good, I like the style. will hold back enthusiasm. Might be fun to "skin" these guys with clay! I don't get the motorized action tho. Intrigued for sure. I LOVE Machineman's email... it's so perfect and speaks to me as recovering Xevoz nut.
Waiting on assembly borg still too.

Here is the web site for Skeleflex: www.skeleflex.com/. The aliens could be very cool and fit in well with Xevoz.

Skeleflex aliens are now available here right now: www.shopwildplanet.com/store/merchant.mvc?. They are a little bit more than what I had read they would be, but what isn't these days. They look pretty cool. I ordered all four and will post pictures compared to Xevoz when I get them.
