Damn you, Bleighdzes. I think you might have just spent some of my money. Those look pretty cool. My curiosity's definitely stirred. Did you look at any of the others listed at HLJ? Some of the gashapon look pretty cool too: www.hlj.com/product/ATS82035www.hlj.com/product/ATS82067Why is it that cool/innovative/more interesting toy concepts like these seem to do so much better in Asian countries?

I read on another board: "Note: Please note also that these are trading figures and are individually sealed and randomly packed in boxes of 10 before shipment to HobbyLink Japan. As a result we are unable to honour requests for individual or specific figures, nor can we promise you which one(s) you will receive in a box. Please order only if you are willing to accept any of the possible types." Even though i would take the risk...although HLJ dont ship to Peru and doesnt accept payment via Western Union

Hehehehe, look what I've started? Well, seems that there are some people willing to purchase so I think I will hold off for a while. Not that I don't want to, but I made some purchases recently and I need to be aware of my budget. If anyone does purchase these things, please provide picks and give a review for the rest of us. Thanks in advance.

I've seen these up close now, not only are they small, they are very cheap looking, it's japanese candy toys. The ball sockets are everywhere and yes you can interchange everything and make basically crazy contraptions. at $10 a pop you have a mess of parts that combine into an ERECTOR set mess of ball joint after ball joint. This set that's available online doesn't even have the best robots. They sell extra ball joint pieces to make long chains of well... more ball joints/sockets. Konami makes something called Busou Shinki. It's a little microman ish girl figure with interchangeable parts and weapons. They look nice and are about $35 and there's some interactive game involved. there are 3 out now, angel, howl and meow versions, well that i can find anyways. The devil type which is the best IMHO is impossible to find in stores I've been to here in Japan. At this point, I'm just going to pick up a masterpiece starscream. www.busou.konami.jp/figure/lineup_00.htmlwww.archonia.com/index.php?page=news&id=2496

eMummy, thanks for the info about my find. The Busou Shinki line you showed looks fantastic. I really like the Cat & Rabbit the most from this line.

It's funny you guys are talking about this. I have recently ordered 2 of the the Busou Shinki kits from playasia. The Angel Arnval and Waffebunny are on their way and hopefully be here by my birthday next Monday. I've also pre-ordered the sold out imported Devil Strarf kit as they are due to be released here late January via diamond previews at BigBadToyStore.com. I've also pre-ordered wave three (Knight Xiphos, Samuria Benio, and Stanta Claus Tsugaru) as well. Wave 4 is due out in Japan by the end of Febuary. The preview sketch of the Fort Bragg Tank Girl looks amazing! I think these toys and Transformers Classics may help fill the void left by Xevoz. www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search.aspx?search=shinki~SS~

You'll have to let us know how these turn out for you, Squish. They look amazingly cool, and I'm thinking about ordering a couple of them myself.
