I was looking at an old post revived that had some great artwork, and it prompted me to start this thread. It's time to share some new figure ideas. Personally, I like to match the style of what has been done, with what new figs will enhance the line.
First up is: Miner Luster
He is a western prospector (49'er miner) combined with a dwarf character. He is shorter and stocker that the other characters (nice variety as most characters have long, skinny limbs).
One head is bald with white/gray hair on the sides, another has a long, braided dwarf beard, and the third has a big smile with a gold tooth.
His accessories are: two gems, a double-barreled sawed-of shotgun, a gold pan, a pick, and a war axe. His canvas back-pack has a slot on the side to hold a staff, pick, ect... He might even have a smallish battle-damaged confederate flag.
Second idea: Stone Hopper
A grey/marble-blue Sectoid in the form of a grasshopper. The torso is long and not articulated, but has a two-hole area and two one-hole areas on the back. There are three ball joints on each side, and a ball joint at the front (maybe set at an upward angle).
The back legs are one segment and a foot, with the next legs having two segments. The forelimbs are designed to work as either walking or grabbing claws. The core figure would stand with the body at an upward angle.
The heads could be like Hoppers from "A Bug's Life", a mosquito's, and an ant's. Up to four wings would fit on the back. Long but rounded wings (not sharp and narrow like BC).
Accessories include: black bombs to drop, rocks, a diamond, and a corn stalk (gag piece).
What ideas are waiting in your minds?

Wow, a post 3 minutes later!
After posting, more ideas flooded into my head. For the Stone Hopper, maybe have an action feature of a stinger or 'heat blast' out the back (like a bombadier beetle). There is plenty of room in the long body for the spring. Also, the corn stalk could be three pieces; one base (dirt mound and stalk sticking up) with a ball joint, and two identical stalks, each with a socket on the bottom, corn cob, and ball on top. The fig would have only a few armor pieces, shaped like stone plates or something.
BTY, anyone with good drawing skill (you know who you are) feel free to draw any of my ideas (please, please).
Idea for a new species: Hydraters! They are water Xevoz. Figures would probably need to be amphibious. Ideas include: mermaid, horned frog, sea serpent, octopus, clam-crab, ect...
A personal note about female Xevoz. I have kids, and agree with XevoxDad about having innocent action figures. I hope Hasbro never makes trashy bimbo Xevoz. Chain-mail bikinis are silly to me, as well as non-mammal female characters having bosums. I like the improved Hyperfury plant that someone drew (can't...remember...your....name), but what about a couple of roses on the front to suggest femaleness? Love the root-like legs, and the head (articulated leaves). Fantastic!

Thanks. If it's within my range or adequate reference material is available, I could certainly give it a shot. Amazing how many Grasshopper images showed up under Google images search.

Okay I have two creatures I'm cooking up. Aurora Wave (Hyper Furie, and Medieval Terror(Reptosaur). Aurora Wave It is a water type that doesn't have any specific shape in his body but seems to bend and wave. It is kind of slender, more so then the other H F. For heads there is one that's kind of like the Iron Specter ghost head but a bit larger. For another I'm kind of thinking with a serpentine head. Not really like a snake but something like that narrow with a jaw of some kind. For a joke peice it has a fish bowl head and a carp fish pokes out at the top and is like a face for it. accercerious could be a see through base made of water, a spear with a rock point, and Some things that are like Franken Punkers wires but more slender and see through. A bit like the ones on Zovexs creation here i46.photobucket.com/albums/f103/zovex3/Hyperfury/Water/b49f003c.jpgSo what do think Neo is it to complicated? I kind of got excited about the prospect of making a new xevoz. I'll post the Medieval Terror tomorrow.

What can I say? Curse the english language for lacking of good congradulatory adjectives.
Awsome, sweet, rad, cool. They all don't mean a thing compared to that. Here I'll try

WOW you guys are fast (Story and Artist guys)
Miner: Cool. Carry over to dwarf is very good idea. Skip the Flag.... Add a shield or TNT can.
Hopper: yeah, though the line needed one. tail launcher is good too.
As for the drawings, I'm speechless.

Doodled some more when I woke up. Still had a few ideas floating in my head. A bit more dynamic pose for GL's Aurora Wave with an alternate 4-eyed Alien-inspired head Taking Moon Stalker's design in a different direction

Wow thanks for the extra pic. And the next dragon thing looks awsome with that mace and chain. Better the MS ever did. How long does it take for you to "doodle" them. There was an hour between my description and when you posted it.
