Well, I guess we know what they're going to look like before arriving on earth for certain, or else these wouldn't have released. Cool find! Thanks for sharing.

Uhh,.. is it me or do their vehicle modes look almost the same?
I believe I will pass on these figs, at least the protoforms. They seem too Tekkaman Blade-ish for me. I know one thing is certain, if they didn't have the Transformers label on them, I would pass them over without hesitation.

I have to agree with you, Bleighdzes. I'm definitely not trying to be a jerk—or insult anyone who does like these—but to me, they look a little generic. The designs just don't appeal to me very much in general, and if not for the Transformers label being on the package, I'd pass over them without so much as a second glance too. They seem more like something from a dollar store than "real" Transformers, so I'm going to be passing on these as well.
Also, is it just me, or does Prime's head look more like something you'd expect to see for Soundwave?

Just got the movie preview Protoform figures.
In a word, amazing. I've got hundreds of Transformers, but these are far different than anything else aesthetically. Very poseable, and really clever transformations.
I am really looking forward to the movie line in June...
