enewsi.comI'm sure everyone by now has seen the new TF trailer. I think it actually looks pretty good, its not what I grew up with, and I don't like my Prime with a mouth, but it looks good. And when I say it looks good, is because the toys look great! After seeing the pictures of the new Transformers Animated Toyline, I'm totally down. They are solid, like TF classics are. It's like I'll support the show, cuz the toys are ... crap I want them all. Starscream looks great!! All of the toys look like their cartoon counterparts, even in robot form. Thats just good design.

I'm going to pick up most of these as well, except for those two fat robots, Lugnut and Bulkhead. (Just don't care for their designs.) I especially like Megatron's Cybertronian robot-mode, primarily due to the fact that he has a BFG, which is the way I prefer Megatron. I can take or leave his alt-mode, but we'll be getting his Earth-mode on down the road anyway (later in the show's first season, I believe).

The toys look pretty neat.
I don't like are the extra long chins though.

Check out this album I saw that shows some of the figs for this line. I instantly thought of Iron Spectre when I saw Grimlocks sword. Same thing I thought. Looks cool, doesn't it? Very fitting for Grimlock. Just like Megatron should always have some type of BFG, Grimlock should always have a sword. (I had to make one for my Classics Grimlock in order to fully appreciate the figure.)

Not a big TF fan but I will buy multiples of "Lockdown". I'd like to be the first to sand off the spikes and add a roof spoiler. Maybe add an MFP license plate and make the Blower smaller. I like how the described it as a "Muclecar". Probably a right hand drive too!
Still think Grimlocks sword looks AWFULLY Xevolvian.

Hasbro sais the in store date is June 22nd. I think we may be seeing them before that however.
Hasbrotoyshop has the wave 1 figures listed now, but unavailable. Keep and eye out though, that means they'll soon be in stock.

Per this source, the toy line should be hitting store shelves in less than a week. March 25th is the US release date.

You know, hopefully, I'm right, but as I re-read the comment, I think I might be wrong. It only mentions that they will be live on their site, but I don't know what that means for ordering, or even local retail sales.
I'll be happy either way. If it's delayed, that gives me time and a buffer to work on other things that require wallet-raping.
