Who's a fan? I remember I used to have quite a few kits as a kid. I guess they were looked at as more educational than regular action figures and such, so it was easier to get LEGOS for birthdays than, say, a wrestling figure.
I haven't bought a set in who knows how long, but during Midnight Madness I picked up the Darth Vader operation set and as tiny as it is, it was fun to put together.
I hadn't been paying attention to which SW sets had already been released, but it looks like several of the main sets have been rereleased and KB online is having a pretty good sale.
What's everyone's favorite LEGO set? Mine is probably the NASA shuttle launching set.

I love legos. My fav set is the new Millenium Falcon. I had to build it 2 times b/c it had a shaky foundation w/o additional reinforcement.

I love LEGOS and I love the Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars in general. So needless to say Star Wars legos are genius. I'm even tempted to get the videogame. I've gotten every set except for some droid army/gungan eps 1 stuff and the deluxe sets(Star Destroyer is just too big to have around), but tho I have to agree that the eps 5 Millenium Falcon is awesome, with its Hoth figs, the snowtrooper and such a better job than the first attempt, but the gang plank isn't very solid, and I want to fit Leia and c3po in the xockpit too, altho I suppose i could attempt to mod it. I think they could have improved it with the front lights hooked up to a light and battery like the LEGO train sets, and absolutely rig up the engine to light up with that fiberoptic stuff they are using on the new light up SWLEGO lightsabers... Heres hoping for a 3rd redux, maybe RotJ edition with Lando and that other fish head dude.
My fav set would have to be the AT-AT. Which comes with a few snow troopers, a pilot, and Luke. Even at a slightly off fig to vehicle scale (as most of the SWLEGOS line is) this thing looks like the actual movie model, fairly poseable, and is just tall. It towers over every other lego. I had to get more, cuz one was not enough, but LEGO had stopped making them and they were going for $150 on eBay in the UK, but fortunately LEGO saw that this set was awesome and so they reissued it and I was able to get more of this solid set at LEGO.com I just wish that Hasbro would see how awesome Xevoz is and restart the series. With some cartoon to back it up(yeah I love how theres a thread for that on this board!) Such an awesome line, I'm so glad I found this web board of fellow fans.

I am fence sitting about legos... I have only a technics set, and a small collection of legos from childhood. The pics of customs made from Bionicle parts are very enticing, and in the future I may go that route; buy a set of recent bionicles, ditch the boxes and instructions, and figure out what parts I want more of. Combine with some parts dyeing, and it would be pretty fun. Throw in some mindstorms and some technic sets... But right now I have neither the space nor money (nor time) for a second, er, fifth, er fourteenth fanaticism. Edit: The one set I have and love is the Mag Wheel Master. Not my pic: www.nd.edu/~lego/grp2/www/graphics/lego/8417.jpg

I've seen some awesome Bionicle creations, but they just look way to skeletal for me. It's the sculpted pieces of xevoz that really do it for me. That bike looks sweet tho, and the technic sets are great for making working motorized gear things...
I just remembered that the Bionicles have lots of ball and socket joints. Does any one have these? Are they compatible with Xevoz?
If you had a toy line made that used the ball and socket convention of figures, and they just happened to work with Xevoz, what are the legal ramifications for that? Is the patent by Hasbro or Ban YJ? Or has ball and socket construction been in the toybiz so long that it's a non-issue?

i would have to say that the star wars lego AT-AT is my favorite as well, even though it took like 7 hours to fully assemble, part of which was an operator error (after staring at the instructions for so long it gets hard to tell the difference betweeen dark grey and light grey). this kit was awesome, eventhough i have never seen a speeder bike on hoth. the only problem i had with the kit was i had to rig up a small rubber band to keep the head's side panels closed. outside of that it was 1,064 pieces of bliss. a quick side question: does anyone else get frustrated when assembling a large lego kit, and when finished there are quite a few pieces left over? when this happens to me i literally freak out and start to analyze everything that had been done and look over the instructions 50 more times and sometimes totally reassemble the kit. i hate it when this happens.

Ahh yeah, I'm probably the biggest LEGO fan on these boards. My favorite set is the AT-AT also. I like the Star Destroyer, but it's too much of a headache to be my favorite. And it's got zero playability ;D

To reinforce the floor in the Falcon, get some thick blocks and put them in various spots on the bottom. and then put the top pieces over it. This helps it a WHOLE lot.

I've liked a lot of the Star Wars Lego sets. They are easily more fun than the regular figures, which I never buy.
However, that said, I am a HUGE lego fan, have been for as long as I remember, since my older brothers had some before I was born.
Now I look at some of the sets they put out and I wish that they were just a little cheaper, though they are worth the price, just for the replay value.
Que vivan los legos!

If I had more room and money, I'd buy all the Star Wars LEGO sets. But for now, I only have the Star Wars LEGO Mini sets. They're damn cool IMO. I love the mini AT-ST!

I bought several of the Alpha Team sets. I can't remember the names of the ones I bought, but I really like them and when I bought them they seemed like a lot of fun!
The castle sets fascinate me, as I enjoy that period of history, but I haven't been able to buy many of those.
