I'm not the Bionicle fan I used to be, but I couldn't pass this one up. Axonn is part of the newer Bionicle storyline I believe. He's one of the boxsets (196 pieces), bigger than the figures that come in the canisters. It took me a good 40 minutes to put it together, but it's worth it. That guy is very, very cool! The only downside I can think of is that his arms are just heavy enough that the shoulder ball joints have trouble keeping the arms elevated a bit. Other than that, he rocks. By far one of my favorite LEGO creations ever. Enjoy the pics!

That is a great set - I'll have to pick it up when it goes on sale sometime.

Those are some seriously big Thunder Shaman hands. Good to see there expanding the size of the figs. I like the pipes holding the back of his/her legs up.
I'm seeing a lot of recycled parts though.

I hadn't thought of it, but the mask really does look like the Guyver's face. As for what Machineman said, the pipes behind the legs are indeed pretty cool. And they work very well too. It gives the figure some much needed support in the legs and you don't lose none of the articulation.
