Randy, Yep- I had the exact thing you're referring to (the clown story was taken from MT #5 - the FIRST #5, that is - I believe). I agree, that story would have been probably the best introduction to the character they could have found . . . but, alas, it didn't have Spider-Man in it . . That's the one! I had MT 1-3, the record version of #5, and a few later ones, plus a bunch of guest appearances and such. Man-thing was a character way ahead of his time. Very un-traditional--half Mary Shelley, half HP Lovecraft. Have you seen the terrible looking Man-thing movie, yet?

About Iron Man:
He's a great figure. Pretty sturdy. Mine broke. But that was because I pushing the arm in an unfavorable posistion and the joint snapped. it could easily be fixed with some strong glue, haven't gotten around to it though. If you see it, get it.

The Green Goblin fig is not articulated that well. He is definately not in the same league as ML in terms of articuklation, he just looks cool in my opinion. Like I said, I like the art he is derived from and he is the only Green Goblin figure to look like that, which is why he is one of my faves.
As for action feature...his glider fires a missle. I'm not into action features anyway, especially if they mess with the sculpt of the figure, so this works fine for me.
As for Morbius...I passed on that one multiple times...I just think it look horrible!

[glow=red,2,300]but glueing it makes it fixed. have you tried retooling the joint. popping off the joint and making a new one? sounds tough, but there is help. www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/GeneralGuide.html[/glow]

i'll take some pics of the damage tomorrow. I think just the right amount of strong glue can repair it. and if not, then i can find a suitable pose with it's disability

I was in a toy store here today and saw that they have one of every ML figure from at least the last 4 four waves. It's a cool display to look at and is a welcomed change to the Beasts and Namors that are warming the pegs everywhere else.
So if anyone is looking for a particular figure and can't find it, lemme know and I'll hook you up.

Sorry I didn't mention it. They don't. Otherwise they'd be mine It's all the regular stuff including the somewhat harder to find non-chase fgures.

Wow- that's totally unheard of in my neck of the woods. Lots of empty pegs with one or two Elektras, Beasts, or Gambits is the norm here. It would be so nice to be able to actually just walk in and BUY one from a store, rather than having to search.
That said, I could use a regular (non-chase) Phoenix, if your store has one. Drop me a PM if you think it's possible.
Thanks in advance. Keith

As of last week, Apocalypse was available. And this week, I found a Deapool! Now I dunno if I should just open it or use it for a trade or something. I'm tempted to open it
