[glow=red,2,300]but the way its being offered is not. this is a figure i am sure people will paid what ever price for. look at the big scale spiderman with the 67 points of articulation. it got made. why not offer the popular sentinel by itself instead of making us by figures we do not want. i think shop lifting will make its return. i smell it. i thought toybiz was offering us a mecha series like mcfarlane has a couple of times. too bad, but at least we get something rather than nothing.[/glow]

I am tempted to pick up Deathlok from series 9. But a quick search shows that he is short packed... www.toyglobe.com/details.php?type=2940Are the Galactus parts randomly inserted? Sounds pretty insane if to make a Galactus you MUST get one of each of the short packed figs as well. But they are doing pretty good at being insane with this toy series...

Damn that Sentinel looks good. Too bad none of the figures interest me besides Spider-Man. They do all look nice though.

I'll buy everyone except that lame cyclops and mystique. I'm sure indavidual sentinal parts will show up on ebay. - Dark joe

the only thing that interests me is Spider-Man and Black Panter. I got the X-Men Classics Cyclops so I dont need the Condom Head Cyke.

You made the right decision I missed a chance to get him for half price because I heard you could build a sentinel. Then they make circus act shoes and condom head cyke *sigh*. - Dark joe

Yeah, I'm going to have to buy all of them to get that sweet-looking sentinel. I've heard there are some quality issues with the fully assembled galactus, though, so hopefully they'll work that out...

I'm curious, what kind of problems are people having with Galactus?

I've heard that he's not very sturdy when you assemble him; something about the joint pieces being cast either too small or too big, or the parts getting warped in the package so they don't fit together quite right.
I've heard that the sculpt is amazing, though, so he serves his purpose as a showpiece if you just want to glue him together.

Lobsterman:
Tell us more about the Galactus figure please. I'm all into him since it was discovered he's really Franklin Richards! What's the source of your info?
Should I abstain from buying him? I mean, there's no chance of a fix, the molds are made. It is what it is...
But is it crap?

This is all info I've read on the RTM buzz board. The majority of what I've heard has been along the lines of "OMFG, IT's GALACTUS!!!!! I'M GETTING THREE!!!" I haven't heard anything negative beyond what I posted. The people who posted the criticisms said they mostly had to cherry-pick to find a set of pieces that fit together solidly -- a luxury they could obviously afford, being dealers who could crack a case, open all of the packages to get the Galactus pieces, and sell the loose figures on ebay. I haven't actually seen the figure in person, so I can't speak to the information's veracity. If you're a Galactus fan, I'd say get him anyway.
Wait. He's Franklin Richards?
