i dunno if it's ironic or not, but i think it's kinda crazy that the new marvel legends professor x has 33 points of articulation, only to be doomed to sit in a wheelchair.....

Dude, why you gotta dis the handicapped? Just think of the outrage there would have been if they just didn't put any articulation in his lower body. Oh, they coulda made it the paralyzed variant!

i guess you are right, there does have to be some articulation. otherwise it would look lame to try to pose him when a villian snatches him outta his chair (espicially when omega red comes out, those tendrils are just begging to hangman choke professor x). i guess i was just dissappointed to see professor x have 33 points of articulation, while my red skull figure only has 18....

i guess i was just dissappointed to see professor x have 33 points of articulation, while my red skull figure only has 18.... I think both of them are low points for the line. Red Skull was an obvious disappointment as far as posability goes -- especially since they could have used the X2 movie Magneto's body and achieved the same German soldier suit effect with far more articulation. I'm bummed that the new Prof X is essentially a slight retool and repackaging of the original X-Men movie figure. I was really hoping for a version with his Jim Lee-era "adventuring" outfit and gold hoverchair. Yeah, I know, I should just shut up and be happy with Galactus' head...

yes indeed, the gold hoover chair would have been super sweet (an extra head with closed eyes would have been cool too, cuz when x uses cerebro his eyes are alwys closed). a bendable blanket to cover his legs would have been nifty too. i was just glad to see tha big g's head was prominantly displayed in the package whereas the other pieces were kinda hidden.

They gave so much leg articulation so young minds could make it look as horrific as possible if he fell out of his wheelchair. He didint come with the cool hoverchair because with a galactus part it would have been to much plastic. - Dark joe

They did it in case you want to pretend he's young Xavier, back when he could still walk. I'm surprised there wasn't a varient with the hoverchair, or a glass wheelchiar.
