Just picked up a THIRD Razorclaw, bringing my total figure count to an even 15... Painting it brown with black clothing (like Moon Slasher's pants, only black - but made so it doesn't just look like a "naked" black Razorclaw's legs) for variety. Still very very eagerly awaiting the arrival of Series 2 here...

I thought the size of Hemo Goblin was impressive but I'll agree that they're not the greatest figs in the series. My only disapointment was that the Battle Terrain was bi-fold, I was looking forward to another tri-fold board like in the Shadow/Bone 2-pack. I thought the Value Packs had the bi-fold boards because they were Value Packs but now I have the feeling that we'll never see another tri-fold board I totally prefer the bifold version. With the tri-fold, you end up with an uneven board, whereas the bifold ones lay flat. The value packs came with boards? What was the scenery included? I'm actually trying to incorporate these things in my display.

Um, what's so great about the tri-fold board? Sure, it's a little more solid than the other boards, but it still has 2 terrains on it. I've got one, mind you, I just don't see that big of a difference.

The thing that bothers me is that on the bi-fold boards they just put the species name on the board where as the tri-fold board actually gave the terrians a name. Like the Night Attack Battle Terrain and the Desert Hive Battle Terrain. I just like it when things are named They could actually do the same thing with the bi-fold boards, they just haven't.

i just picked up a skull jack and alpha ranger on saturday at my TRU.
it was the only skull jack there, and when i was opening it, it looked like someone had opened it up before. kind of a bummer, but the only missing piece is his knee pad, so i won't really complain. he's the guy i wanted most from wave1, so it's all grood.
they didn't have any of wave2, otherwise i might have gotten the moon stalker vs. hemo goblin 2pack as well. i was hoping for a sky grinder, but i don't think he's been released at anybody's TRU yet

Slift, take back the Skull Jack for an exchange! Maybe your TRU can call another TRU nearby and they can hold a pack for you. Otherwise, I bet Hasbro will replace that missing part for you! Just an idea. You paid for the toy, so I think you should get everything it should come with! Especially when Target has the figures for less than TRU, now. TRU will want to keep our business!

There was a post on the boards not long ago that someone's Alpha Ranger was either missing a piece or the piece broke. I'm thinking the former. Anywho, they called or emailed customer service and told them the situation. Hasbro sent them a brand new Alpha Ranger, free of charge. I strongly recommend calling up Hasbro. You could have 2 Skull Jacks for the price of 1.

i thought about doing that, but i'm attached to MY skull jack already. call me crazy, but i wouldn't want some other one now. he looks alright without the kneepad and i probably wouldn't have noticed if my brother didn't point it out to me.
edit: that reminds me, my brother hadn't heard about xevoz until i bought them saturday, but it looks like they've got his attention now. ;D
edit2: do you think hasbro could send me a different fig along with the kneepad, or am i just getting greedy?

I know what you mean. I've kept some broken or incomplete toys before myself.
OT(when is anything on topic? ;D): What is up with Skull Jack? I've have one, but I could kick myself for not getting more when I had the chance(TRU had 3 or 4 of them). Now they've all but disappeared. Argh! Guess I'll just have to start building an army of Grim Skulls and pick up whatever Skull Jacks I can find.

whoops! me and my bro looked at that picture wrong. the "kneepad" is just the top part of the peg leg, which i have but don't use. i would have felt terrible if i made hasbro to send me an extra fig when i was the one who made the mistake
