[glow=aqua,2,300]Actually I'm usually one of the first to sign on for cool new toylines. I usually get burned out because I think the toy companies get lazy, greedy, or start pumping out bad choices in toys. There's a huge difference in Xevoz though than with a lot of the other toylines I was hot about collecting at first and then cooled on after several waves. Xevos is about tapping the imagination. the other toylines were all based on a TV series, movies, or comics and thus were constricted a great deal by those existing properties. It's so fresh to see creativity getting a new lease on life in our toy aisles again.

I think this is why Xevoz is so appealing to me. It's not something I already have a long standing opinion on through media or other means. There isn't anything really "canon" so to speak. We do have a basic storyline through the inserts and website, but nothing too involved to where we can't modify it and create from scratch something we can have fun with.
Time will tell if Hasbro's story will dictate how all of these characters, and species, are "supposed" to be like. I, right now, hope that they keep it pretty basic, and let our imaginations rule as "official canon."
Guess this got off topic. Did I mention I got three more Xevoz today? ;D

Guess this got off topic. Did I mention I got three more Xevoz today? ;D Have you read any thread on this board yet that at some point doesn't go off topic? We're very good about taking things in multiple diffferent directions in a few posts I however do agree that the best thing about this line is that it's all new, part of the excitement is learning about the species and a world we've never seen anywhere before. Regardless of the story Hasbro tells though this is a whole society that's been created and they can't possibly cover every point in Xevoz history. My point being there will always be room for the imagination Back to the topic on hand, I picked up the Hemo Goblin/ Moon Stalker 2-pack today. We only had 1 though so I'm in this big struggle of do I open it or not... Yeah right....the temptation is way to much, I'm opening it right after I get off here and I'll try to have my site updated before I leave for work....gonna go work on that now. I'll post if I get it done...I have less then 2 hours....I just need to keep the play time to a minimum ;D

[glow=aqua,2,300] There was only one left at your TRU? Iis there anyway you can determine how many came in on the truck and how many you sold in that short time?

We only got 1 case, 2 Moon/Hemo and 2 Shadow/Bone per case. They were put out yesterday morning so someone bought 1 yesterday and I got the other one this morning. Of course now we're back up to 3 Shadow/Bone instead of the 1 that we had before

[glow=aqua,2,300]Man, that wierd that they only send one case. Kinda seems pointless. Ugh...why is Hasbro splitting the cases with ShadowBlade and Bonecutter? At least pack them out 3 new to one series 1 refresh. I just don't understand Hasbro or Mattel's logic most of the time. Many of their moves seem very counterproductive to their toyline's success.

Quick reply because I have to go to work but it does make sense to pack out first wave with second wave because that way people who get into the line late can still pick up first wave figs if they're packing out with the new stuff. I managed to get Moon Stalker up on my site but I ran into problems getting decent pics of him because he has so many bright white pieces that kept blending into the background Anyway Doctor, or anyone else who has the 2-pack, if you've opened it did you notice anything missing? I looked all over to make sure I didn't loose it someplace but I can't find the "handle" weapon thing for Hemo Goblin...did it come with anyones? I got one for Moon Stalker just not for Hemo Goblin. If Hemo Goblin doesn't have one then why? He's the first figure to not come with that piece

[glow=aqua,2,300]It only makes sense if all the exsisting units are all dried up and people are clamouring for more. They are still found in abundance in quite a few outlets. Still I'll give them one old set per three new sets Benefit of the doubt. Two for two is a big mistake IMO as a lot of these series 1 2 packs have been sitting around retail for several months. The fans of this line want the new stuffs more than the old at this point. The old is still readily available so there is no need to give us even case amounts of the 2nd 2 pack which I think is also a more desirable assortment of characters to begin with. Unless this is just a quick and short run transition case pack that nurses off the series 1 packs and increases the series 2 product, you can expect a glut of series 1 2 packs to start piling up at many retailers.

Hate to say you're right, SS. My TRU had around 3 *dozen* 2 packs today and some of the Xevoz space had already been re-invaded by those damn Zoids. The normal pegs were fine, but the shelf space where the twopacks sat side by side has been cut in half, with one facing of two packs moved under the other.
On topic, I finally got the rest of Wave 1 today. Picked up the Inferno Fury, Omega Guard, and Grim Skull. I'll probably only get one of each of the Guard and Skull, since they'll be coming in booster sized sets later. I haven't opened either of those, but the Inferno Fury is amazing. Not to sure about his wings, as one ball joint is not as large as the other, so it doesn't have as much movement as the other. Of course for a ball joint, "not as much" doesn't mean, well...much.
I'm still torn on what to do with the IF. I'd like to have him be a singular Ancient that was trapped in an element by the Genok(the main baddie) or someone. However, I wouldn't mind owning an army of these guys, using the wings and masked face as their leader. Then the reg. grunts can have the maskless head and no wings. If anyone remembers the Lava Men from that old He-Man episode, you have an idea of what I'm talking about.
*edit* Ok, my g/f came home from work so we opened the Omega Guard and Grim Skull kits. I dig the Omega Guard because he's such a different scheme than the Alpha Trooper. It's nice that they gave us Sledge Trooper parts, but I don't think the King's Guard would be amplifying themselves with robot parts. Grim Skull is ok, but doesn't really do anything for me. Again, I don't like the mixing of Skull Jack and Inferno Fury parts, so I'm not to jazzed about the figure. Not that I don't like the figure, he's just not my favorite. Going hunting tomorrow, so hopefully I'll find something from Wave 2.

Doh, forgot to post. I picked up another Razorclaw and my g/f got her first Sledge Trooper, eventhough she's been playing with mine.

You need to get your gf to sign up here and start posting, it'd be interesting to have some female perspective thrown into all these discussions!

Scored me the Moonwolfie and Hemogoblin (eugh) last night. Put 'em together. Sorry to say, not quite wowed by these two, but still solid figs. I thought the size of Hemo Goblin was impressive but I'll agree that they're not the greatest figs in the series. My only disapointment was that the Battle Terrain was bi-fold, I was looking forward to another tri-fold board like in the Shadow/Bone 2-pack. I thought the Value Packs had the bi-fold boards because they were Value Packs but now I have the feeling that we'll never see another tri-fold board
