I don't know exactly what they're doing but Hasbro is doing something good to promote this line. I just got home from work, in the hour that I was there while the store was open I had 3 kids ask about Xevoz and saw a couple more carying them around. For sure I know we sold Skull Jack, Inferno Fury x 2, Razorclaw, Omega Guard and a Shadow Blade/Bone Cutter 2-pack. All within an hour! Hopefully the sales stay strong the rest of the day ;D

You're definitely right. I've hit my TRU about 6 times in the last 10 days, with yesterday being the last time. I was primarily waiting for my TRU to get the promo packs, which they finally did. Each time I noticed drastic changes to the xevoz stock. Most of the figures are selling like crazy...sadly, the Alpha Ranger seems to be the peg warmer. I say this because there are tons of him left, and I single handledly depleted my TRU of 8 of them and there are still tons of him and maybe one or two of the others. The AR and the Sledge Trooper happen to be my favorites in the line, so I wish they sold better, but I guess these, if any, may be the ones left for discount, if it ever gets that far. Hasbro seems to be on the multi-pack band wagon...so maybe we'll see these guys release later in a 4 or 6 pack fashion...like GI Joes and Star Wars army builder sets.

[glow=green,2,300]Heh, my small town TRU seems to be doing rather well with these as well. They've restocked the peg's twice in the two weeks I've been into buying the toys. I condensed the booster packs from 9 pegs to 2. There is like 8 or 9 Razor Claws, 7 Alpha Rangers, and 1 Skull Jack left. We never got any deluxe or value packs here. The 2 packs are selling somewhat slowly, but we also have a bunch and they are the highest price point. It's too bad because this is probably the best value in the line.

Currently we're out of Sledge Trooper and Grim Skull...Skull Jack and Razorclaw have been selling well but no one seems to be buying the Alpha Ranger or Omega Guard. The 2-packs have been selling relatively well, we started out with 4 cases and we've sold about half of them. Might not sound the greatest but at our store it's not uncommon for us to get 4 cases of something and a month later still have 4 cases

It's too bad the Alpha Rangers aren't selling as well as the others. But on the other hand it makes more for army builders to buy

I just wish my TRU would get in some of the Omega guard, he's the only one left of the 1st wave that I wanted...I may have to settle for the Alpha ranger soon. I do think Hasbro is doing a fine job(Mattle should take lessons!) But I wish I could find them in other places than TRU. Not that I dislike TRU, it's justr nice to be able to "hunt" in more than one place, especially when they're closer to home...

Currently a lot of toy manufacturers are working with stores to try to combat the Walmart plague. Different retailers are getting products before other stores to try to increase sales. This is apparently the only way they can think of to prevent Walmart from undercutting everyone and driving everyone out of business

Good. I'd prefer to go anywhere to looks for new products other then Walmart. I know everyone has different Wal-mart experiences, but mine is the same old thing. Messy stores, long lines, employees who don't care, return products with parts/pieces missing or swapped out, and scalper scum regulars. Every other store has some of these traits, but good old Wal-mart has them all, and consistently I might add. Often times, the nightmare that is their parking lot prevents me from even wanting to go there in the first place. And low prices?? It amazes me that people shop at Wal-mart for their low prices...often times it amounts to pennies on the dollar. It's not like where talking $1 cheaper on new action figures, or $5 cheaper on a new DVD....on a regular basis. I guess the argument is that the pennies add up when you buy all that you need there. But tops, I'd save $10-$15 IF...IF I bought every last think I needed there in the course of a week. The trade off of my time (broken down as an hourly rate at my employer) is worth alot more then the time it takes me to endure the shopping hell at Wal-mart.
