[glow=purple,2,300]I was thinking about this earlier. Who would win in a battle royal free for all among the 1st series figures? All of these guys seem to be tough competitors.
I think the Sledge is definately a heavy weight (pun intended) in the group as he could absorb a lot of punishment and dole out alot of firepower in the process. Skull Jack or Grimm could be pretty formidable since his life is somewhat magic based. I would think alot of conventional weapons would have a harder time stopping him as he could just pull himself back together and fight on.
The Alpha Ranger and the Bone Cutter would seem to be at a somewhat a disadvantage to me in a one on one fight. The Alpha has a nice selection of weapons but he's not as strong, quick, or resilent as the other contestants. Both need the comrades in masses to be at their most effective. I think the alpha might have the advantage in laying low and picking his shots. The Bone Cutter would do well against the Skull Jack.
Razor Claw is a fighting machine but what can he really do against the the top level opponents like the Sledge and the Inferno? He also lacks a strong ranged attack as does the Shadow Blade. This might be good if they were fighting in close quarters with a less dominating opponent but I doubt either of them would wear down the Inferno or Sledge with bladed weapons.
So IMO, it would more than likely come down to the Sledge vs. the Inferno. To me this is a tough battle but one I think the inferno ultimately is the winner. Fire at a certain tempture will melt any solid and it is very hard to put out an out of control fire. The Sledge is made of organic parts and metal. The Inferno being able project fire, fly, having intense heat itself as an armor makes close quarters combat exceedingly difficult. This spells doom for most opponents. Unless someone can trick the Inferno into defeating itself I think the Inferno torches the sledge and the competition. I think in general the elementals are the strongest players in Xevoz. Each of them have major weaknesses, but if you can't exploit it quickly you aren't going to last long. Maybe that's also why it is said they are rare in the Xevos world and prefer to be left alone. If they ever got ambitious and organized they would be very difficult to defeat.[/glow]
