[glow=aqua,2,300]Yeah, up until recently I had that bookmarked. I thought about posting it too but never got around to it. Y'know I keep waiting for this line to take off because every review I've read so far online has been glowing.

that's true. all the reviewers seem to love 'em.
maybe they just need more commercials or something...

[glow=aqua,2,300]I like the one commercial they have for it (I hope I'm grabbing a show when they air it because I'd love to capture it as an encoded file), but the problem is they don't play it very much on kid's television. It also says nothing about them only being available at TRU. Kids might get excited about these toys but when they go to toy ailses in Wal-Mart, still a large amount of Targets, KB , Kmart and the like and then the toys aren't there it's going to be dissappointing. Out of sight out of mind, you know.

I haven't seen one bad review of Xevoz so far, it does however seem to be a common concern that the stickers don't work so well Interestingly enough I know from working at TRU that when kids can't find what they're looking for any place else they will end up at TRU. I can't even guesstimate how many times I've heard "I've been to Walmart, Kmart, Target and KB and none of them had *insert random item here*, do you carry them?" It's a bit hurtful that they don't check TRU first but at least they remember us before forgetting about the item all together

[glow=aqua,2,300] I'm sure that's the exception more than the rule. Most kids when given a chance to buy a toy might seek out a toy they saw on TV, but not finding it they will pick up something else to slake the short term me wantee toy interest. Most parents don't care to take their kids all over town for toys. I know my dad really didn't when I was a kid.
Xevoz isn't making an all out ad blitz so unless a kid is totally won over with that seldom shown commercial I doubt many are tracking them down to TRU and select Targets. Heck, up until a few years ago there was about 350 mile between Dallas and Little Rock where there were no TRU stores at all. It's still half of that both ways for untapped kids finding about Xevoz. I imagine this is the case elsewhere as well. I know several parents who won't shop TRU just bacause the prices are a dollar higher than Wal-Mart. If places like TRU ever go under as toy collectors we are going to be so screwed.

Kids of today have their parents under a lot more control then I ever did when I was a kid. You would be amazed what parents will do for kids, or even better yet what grandparents will do for kids. I talked to one woman on the phone who asked about a bunch of stuff and had me put it all on hold for her, she was going to make almost a 2 hour drive to come pick the stuff up because her kids wanted it and she couldn't find it anywhere else. Granted the majority of the population probably isn't like this but their are a lot of parents like that. As for people not going to TRU, I know a lot of people who won't go to TRU because of the higher prices and collectors who won't go there because a lot of stuff never makes the shelves. A lot of the time they blaim it on scalpers and what not but if there are any other stores like mine it's not because we're scalpers it's because we're collectors as well. There's 4 active collectors at my store and the rest of the people who work there have no clue. I for instance collect a lot of Johnny Lighting and Hot Wheels as well as Batman, Star Wars and Xevoz. In the mornings I put out stuff and pull what I want, but the next time we get a case in I don't pull stuff I already have, it goes on the pegs. Well except for Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning. There's a guy that comes in every morning as soon as we open and digs through them all. I really didn't care that he was getting everything good but what ticked me off was that he made a mess out of the aisle while he did it. He pulled all the JL's off the peg they belonged on and hung them wherever he feelt like it. Then he dug through the 20 pegs of HW and knocked stuff all over not bothering to pick any up. Creating more work for me when I'm trying to keep the aisle looking decent. Because of that I now hold the good diecast in the back until right before I leave and then I put them out. I also go out of my way to help out other collectors, I have a few guys that call up once or twice a week and ask to speak to me so I can update them on what's going on. Then again there are other collectors that I won't even talk to anymore just because they're rude and think I'm lying to them. With me it's 3 chances to be civil and respectful, if you screw up all 3 times don't even bother trying to ask me anything ever again. Holy long winded Batman...that's just something I've been thinking about for a long time and this seemed just as good a place as any to let it all out ;D

Most certainly am ANR! Since I'm obviously a huge fan of Xevoz, I may, in fact, register. I don't like registering. I register with a full profile on many things and then never return...
Until then, my flaky self will continue to rock your pants oldskool.

[glow=aqua,2,300]Eh... don't be offended, Nerdy. I'm really sure he meant nothing rancorous about that flakey comment. Most of us are adult collectors that play with kid's toys. I think we probably all qualify as flakey to some degree. Come sign up, bring some milk, and join the geeky fun. The more flakes in the cereal bowl the better, I say.

haha, i didn't mean anything bad about you being flakey, it's just that you often go into tangents that are amusing, and sometimes ...well.. kinda weird. ;D hey, if i didn't enjoy your antics, would i visit your site as much as i do? i didn't think anyone from ANR would actually see this post, but i'm glad you did. maybe you could post more here or something... maybe post more xevoz pics too

I think that the useless tangents are my charm! That, and my sexy ass. As for this wave of Xevoz, I'm through. I wish I could have said more about them, but in the interest of not repeating myself, and in getting on to other products, I truncated the whole thingamajig. Anyhow, I'm not insulted. Come back for more fun, people.
